Adam is a very patient and adaptive instructor. There is no sense of urgency and he has an intuitive way of explaining things. He taught me to teach myself.

Received a couple intro piano and music theory lessons from him. Did not have a set limit in mind, but was very focused in scope and approach. Very capable of adapting lessons to whatever the pupil is comfortable covering in a given lesson. I would say he does expect a lot and does not tend towards hand holding in his instructional style, so don't expect some kind of polished workbook or regimented standard of lessons.

Adamn Ten Bensel is one of the most down to earth and aware musicians I know. I would say he's the most capable person I know in the aspect of unearthing natural talent in people. He's family to me :)

Amazing piano teacher. Makes sure you are understanding what is being put down and does not let you get down on yourself. Truly knows his stuff and does his all to make you sure you will know your stuff as well. If you are looking for a great piano lesson, give Adam a ring!
