Had them do some new drywall and a lot of patching in a basement. Did a great job and completed work under my tight schedule like promised.Dec 27, 2017
Nate recommended a taper for me. Although that did not go well at all and I had to hire abother taper to finish his work and fix his mistakes I do appreciate the effort.Mar 14, 2017VerifiedNathan B.'s reply
That's unfortunate I just found out the guy I referred you too broke four of his ribs in a motorcycle accident during your job so I can see why he wasn't up to par. I know a lot of people so let me know if you need anybody else I know a lot of quality tradesmen.
If I could give 3.5/5 I would. Overall we are satisfied with the skim coating and enamel work that Nathan did during our remodel. We were given a good price from Nathan but there were some issues with miscommunication throughout the project on quality expectations and timeline. With this being our first home, we wanted to make sure things were done correctly, which were for the most part. However there are loose ends and areas that we will need to touch up before calling it a finished product.Jan 5, 2017VerifiedNathan B.'s reply
Sam I painted your ceiling skimmed your walls in two rooms and a little hallway oil primed and enameled all your wood I told you I could give you this price and do majority of work and you expressed to dyi some of the fine details so i gave you a deal with your agreement on those expectations of you doing the fine detail to save on cost like we agreed. So I don't understand your concerns I thought we were clear on that. I gave you a great price on a solid foundation for your project you were expressing your doing as much as you can to save money DYI so I did the difficult time consuming work the foundation (and top coat enamel with obvious flaws and nail holes removed) to make it easier for you. I'm sorry about the misunderstanding you have a lovely place and I'm proud to be a part of it I'm sure after you did the fine tune patching and painted the walls like you wanted it looks great. Thanks for work and review guess I can't win them all. Send me a pic if you could on the collaboration.
Hired to paint essentially our entire home. Three different colors in multiple rooms. Nathan did a great job with prep, patching several screw holes and other areas, and painting our three-level townhome. This included multi-floor stairwells, a powder room, and two other rooms. I would definitely recommend his work and would hire him again in the future.Jul 7, 2016Verified
Nathan did a fantastic job painting two large 2-story area of our house. He gave us a very reasonable bid, and was enthusiastic and easy to communicate with. He went above and beyond during painting, even helped us clean out a hard-to-reach foyer area when he was up there painting. We'd recommend him to all our friends, and works definitely hire him back for any future jobs!Jan 21, 2016Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I do it according to time, size, and detail within people's expectations and budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Contact in person or on phone and see job and go over details until we are on same page before contract is signed. I would rather see people face to face before I set anything in stone however some jobs are simple and straightforward and smooth communication over the phone or email can be natural. And I don't fight nature I go with it, but at the same time cover all bases.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Communications, psychology, art, and shop classes. Art And music competition giving me balance with outside perspective for detail. My Grampy was a inventor/engineer who taught me common sense work ethic and my Mother was a concert pianist and still teaches and performs giving me that professional work ethic.
