I had always been active but my solo workouts werent giving me the desired results. Choosing John Peters as my personal trainer changed all that. During my two years working out with John, he taught me how to get the most out of my strength training and cardio. John is knowledgeable, accessible and responsive. What I most appreciate about John is that he made an effort to know me and what type of workouts I needed to be successful. He made me work hard and once I saw the results I was able to make myself work hard. I moved to Texas five years ago. I keep asking him to move here because I cant find a quality trainer that kicks my butt like he did. However, because of Johns coaching, Im able to continue the exercise program I learned from him and maintain the results he helped me create.
I hired Aaron after he contacted me on Thumbtack. I had put out a bid for a PT that could custom build me a plan that would fit me AND come to MY apartment gym in Uptown on my schedule. I'm not the gym rat, nor am I trying to become a body builder and he understood that. First, we started out with a meeting at a coffee shop to discuss my goals and what I was expecting out of the training. The next time we met, we took measurements and did some basic workouts to get an idea of where I was at. (Those first two days were actually free) Next, on our third session, we got to work and it's been awesome! Now, not only do we meet twice a week, but he puts together workout plans for me to do on days that we aren't together. In addition to the extra coaching on the off days, he has made a custom tailored food plan for me to follow to achieve maximum results. The fun part? He has all of this and more in an app for my iPhone that makes following his directions super easy when we aren't meeting. The results are coming along exactly as I wanted and at a pace that I can handle. Finally, he's really nice guy that easy going and fun to talk to as you're working out. I would really recommend Aaron, even if it's just for the initial consultation to see if it's for you.
Chad trained me in 2013 at Los Campeones Gym. We talked in detail about the program I was looking for, how I wanted to sculpt my body (I'm no muscle man) as well as my current health and how to improve that without putting myself in danger. With proper form, I have gained strength in my core and have been able to drastically improve upon my strength that existed before I had an inguinal hernia operation. Chad pushes strength and cardio through various activities. You'll never do the same thing over and over again...training your muscles in different ways. He'll help you set reasonable goals that are easily within achievement.
I am so happy to have discovered Leah and Embrace the Wobble. Leah makes you feel apart of a community while offering a great work out. The classes offered are unique, such as Wobble Strength that combines strength and cardio with a yoga cool down it is a great way to start the morning.
I have been working with Andrea for almost three months! She is motivating and encouraging! I have learned how to eat better and have gained more strength than I ever thought I could in this amount of time! I have a more defined midsection and core strength! Andrea has given me workouts and cardio workouts to do on my own! They are easy to follow and fun to do! I use to hate to do planking! I love to PLANK Now! Andrea is always positive and encouraging during our sessions! We always have great conversations during our sessions too! She is helpful in new introduction to exercises! Randy adjusted my workouts to my individual needs and kept me accountable
I was one of Chad's first clients and worked with him for a number of years. He has worked with me for general training as well as rehab after both shoulder and knee surgeries. Although I feel that he is an outstanding trainer for general conditioning and body composition changes, the skill that may separate him from everyone else is his ability to treat each client as though they were the only client he works with. He is an exceptional listener and truly cares about making each session specific to the needs of that client. Not any of the "he's 45, so I'll take him through this plan". He crafts each workout to the specific needs of each client at that point in time. He is also very skilled at understanding the roadblocks that may prevent a client's progress and working, in a positive way, to overcome the obstacle.
Michael is gifted at tailoring workouts to the needs and aspirations of his clients. I am impressed with how quickly I am seeing results!
