Daniel did an amazing job with my son's ACT. For my son's first practice ACT test, he got a 13. He was historically poor in test-taking and math. We signed up with Daniel for twenty 2-hour sessions over a semester. After all of the tutoring, my son scored a 20 on his ACT test! Incredible.
Mark tutored my grandson whom will be entering the 2nd grade this fall. What I wanted my grandson to gain from the sessions was confidence that he could do any math problem ranging from two digits to 11 digits at his grade level. Mark not only exposed him to large number addition and subtraction but also multiplication and division. We were very pleased with the services received and will continue to use Freed Tutoring services.
I researched many options for how to approach a tutor/study group for the ACT. I realized I needed the attention and focus of working 1-1 with another adult and that's exactly what I got. Thomas was able to meet with me on a regular basis and had a nice range of time periods to meet. He was able to help me increase my score by 4 points by giving me lots of practice tests and sites to practice with. Overall a great choice.
Debby is always prepared so she can help me improve with every meeting. She knows what challenges me and focuses on strengthening those weaknesses. She is very experienced with teaching and it shows in our tutoring sessions. Since our first meeting my improvement in scores has revealed all of these qualities.
Jana tutored my son in middle school. He was struggling in all of his subjects. She also helped him with organization and other skills to help him be successful. His grades improved significantly during the time he worked with Jana. She seemed to be able to get him to want to do his very best for her, which is a tremendous asset for a teacher to have. I don't give recommendations out easily, but give Jana a big thumbs up!
I found Jon via Craigslist, but do not let that deter you. Right from the start he was timely in communicating with me, setting up a fare rate for tutoring services and always flexible with scheduling. As an individual who recognizes academia is not my area of expertise, Jon never made me feel that way. He is able to break down complex concepts to simple ideas that helped me to learn and retain information. I am very happy with the progress I have made (I got an A in my class!) and with how this tutoring experience has developed my capacities beyond the scope of the class. I am able to say this because I had 2 other tutors and did not have the academic and personal success as I did after working with Jon. I encourage you to reach out to Jon today.
I highly recommended Philip. His math skills were excellent and he explained concepts in a way that my son could understand. He was always on time, very friendly, and had a very flexible schedule. My son has benefitted from his help tremendously and I would highly recommend him. Thank you for all your help
