Eric's Singing Lessons
About this pro
My daughter has just had 2 lessons so far, but she really is enjoying working with Eric. I love that he is also teaching her piano skills, etc... And he has such a kind and supportive way of helping her.Apr 29, 2015Verified

I am very pleased with my experiences with Eric. He has coached my unruly 7 year old for the past few months expertly. I didn't know really what to expect from voice lessons as I've never had them myself. However, my daughter's singing has improved noticeably in the short time she has been working with him. Eric is easy to work with and responsive; I would recommend him to anyone interested in developing their voice. Thanks Eric!Sep 4, 2014Verified
Eric was prompt and communicated with us very well. Our daughter found his instruction helpful and was challenged by his instruction.Sep 12, 2014
Eric is a patient and understanding teacher who takes the time to thoroughly and knowledgeably address your singing concerns and works with you to tailor your lesson to address your singing needs. My voice has shown noticeable improvement since I started taking lessons with Eric, and I would recommend him to both beginning and advanced singers. Learning to sing is fun! :)Jun 4, 2014
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Tuition works out to $25 for each half-hour lesson, when purchased in a package of eight lessons $25 ($200). Stand-alone lessons are $30 each. I usually recommend starting with half-hour lessons, but if a student is ready to dig in, hour-long lessons are $400 for a package of eight.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I've had such a variety of students over the years, I've narrowed down the process to a few exercises and concepts that work very well in training good technique and a good ear. I start with simple songs and vocalizations just to get the voice going! I gradually introduce the fundamental concepts of technique that singers continue to work on over the years. If a student is unfamiliar with reading music, I also teach the basics of playing piano, and singing solfege.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a college degree in music, with nine years of experience as a voice teacher and professional singer.
