My daughter has just had 2 lessons so far, but she really is enjoying working with Eric. I love that he is also teaching her piano skills, etc... And he has such a kind and supportive way of helping her.Apr 29, 2015Verified

Q & A
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Tuition works out to $25 for each half-hour lesson, when purchased in a package of eight lessons $25 ($200). Stand-alone lessons are $30 each. I usually recommend starting with half-hour lessons, but if a student is ready to dig in, hour-long lessons are $400 for a package of eight.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I've had such a variety of students over the years, I've narrowed down the process to a few exercises and concepts that work very well in training good technique and a good ear. I start with simple songs and vocalizations just to get the voice going! I gradually introduce the fundamental concepts of technique that singers continue to work on over the years. If a student is unfamiliar with reading music, I also teach the basics of playing piano, and singing solfege.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a college degree in music, with nine years of experience as a voice teacher and professional singer.
