Thank you so much for the review! You two were fantastic! Best Wishes!
Dave handled the photography for my daughter's wedding. We spoke about a month before to see if he was a good fit as the wedding was going to be a casual outdoor affair. Dave's experience and patience came through during our conversation and he was a wonderful choice. He was fast and thorough, keeping up with the fluid movement of the group. Had a easy going attitude and a good sense of humor which is always welcome when things get a bit stressful! We received the photos the week following the wedding. Dave did a great job capturing the joy of everyone in attendance. I truly couldn't have asked for more.Oct 1, 2016Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Given the limitations of ThumbTack's bidding / quote system and question / answer - Please view my price as a starting point - everything is negotiable. Time, cost, images, etc...
- What types of customers have you worked with? The majority of work that I do is Weddings and Senior photos, followed by events. I have shot corporate events, weddings, seniors, family portraits, sports, pretty much anything and everything.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Hiring the cheapest photographer that contacts you could be a great deal -- but the more likely scenario is that he or she will be inexperienced and/or ill-equipped. Sometimes going for cheap turns out to be a very expensive mistake. My recommendation is that you take the time to interview several people to find someone with a style that is a good fit for you. This enables you to find the best professional with equipment and experience that is up to the task of making you look great. Also - I have had to "re-do" a lot of sessions for both seniors and weddings where the client originally hired a "friend" or tried to do it themselves. DIY wedding photography or just having a friend do it is really not an option - unless the friend is a pro photographer. And most pro photographers will tell you that they will not shoot a wedding that they would normally be invited to. They want to celebrate your big day. Not worry about getting all the right photos for you.
