I am a PM of a large apartment complex. Clean and Clear was responsive and cheap. Their crews were polite. That's the good. Here's the bad and the ugly: They did not perform as promised, as they said cleaning screens and tracks were part of the service. The screens and tracks only got done if the resident's pointed out that they missed them. If they couldn't pop the window they skipped it rather than contacting management/maintenance to request help - as instructed. There are enough ripped screens to keep my maintenance crew busy for a day. I have had to contact professional carpet cleaners as their crews placed dirty windows directly on carpet, soiling it. They climbed on furniture rather than moving it, an in one instance broke part of a bed and soiled pillows and bedding. They also missed two units and had to return. Was told the carpet would be cleaned at that time and then was told two stories: 1) that the crew wasn't informed of that and 2) the company had to go purchase a steam cleaner to do the work. Hi Kate, We were hired through the property manager however it was arranged for us to work directly with the residents. It appears there has been some miscommunication between the 3 parties (residents, management and our company) and we’d certainly like to make this right for you. We fully stand behind our work and in the event things don’t go as planned, work as hard as we can to resolve it. There were quite a few windows that had prior issues (screens, hardened mold, etc) that our team discussed with the tenants as they went through each unit. We typically like to work with management directly as this helps to prevent miscommunication like this. Our team should have placed down drop clothes, as is our standard, to prevent dirtying up carpet. I apologize for this. If there is any way we can work to correct this for you, we’d be happy to do so. Thanks!
2+ hours late. Husband had them redo lots. Screens just wiped off onto floor. Poor job on window ledges. Raised price on inside windows that needed a ladder. Would not recommend.Oct 11, 2018VerifiedClean and Clear's reply
