My experiences at Synergize Yoga in Anoka, MN have been remarkable! The studio is warm and inviting and the yoga instructors show a great love and enthusiasm through sharing their practice with the students. I have been very fortunate to begin my practice here. In addition to being an exceptional yoga instructor, Kamie Slegers-Nicholls has helped me immensely through our monthly Ayurvedic consultations. Her attention to personal detail and her focus on the whole person, rather than merely symptoms, has truly made a
positive impact on my well being. As a sufferer of chronic pain, anxiety, and depression, the combination of Ayurvedic medicine and yoga practice has been an integral part of my healing process. I am grateful to Kamie for all of her recommendations. It is nice to have someone with her knowledge and experience guide me along part of this long, winding journey! Thank you to all! Namasté.

In 2004 I was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis. In October, 2007 I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease in my lower back. Having always been a very active person this was tough news. My doctor wanted me to see a surgeon immediately but I told her that I wanted to try some other things first. I had zero exposure to yoga but called the closest studio which was Synergize Yoga in Anoka. That call has changed my life and how I feel. I am not in a wheel chair, I have not had surgery, nor do I take medication for my arthritis or disc disease. Nothing can cure what I have but keeping everything around the damage stretched has been the key. Yoga has given me much more than relief from pain and stiffness. Yoga also brings the most wonderful calm to my mind and soul.
I cannot imagine having a yoga instructor other than Kamie Slegers-Nicholls! Her commitment to the practice and continued education to bring more value to her students is just amazing. I was destined and blessed to find Kamie and to have her in my life. I have become an obnoxious Yoga Groupie! Just a side note here: My doctor is amazed at how much Yoga has helped me and calls me her poster child for alternatives to surgery and pills!

Kamie has done some amazing things for me!
She has helped to change my diet and find healthy ways to reduce anxiety and daily stress. I am also working with her on some infertility issues. There are many holistic ways to combat infertility and assist the reproductive system. She has great advice!

I nave been going to Synergize yoga for over seven years. It was the best decision I ever made. Kamie has continued to challenge us and keep us interested and learning about yoga and it's positive impact on our body. I started in my late forties and definitely have reaped the benefits.

I have been attending yoga classes led by Kamie for the past 5 years and I am so impressed with her skills! Not only is she an excellent yoga instructor, she is very knowledgeable about how yoga impacts one physically as well as emotionally. Her knowledge about the human body and how to use yoga to improve one's physical well-being is amazing! She has continually attended trainings to improve her yoga practice and brings that new learning to her classes. I highly recommend the Synergize Yoga in Anoka studio as all of Kamie's instructors are highly qualified.
