FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My primary practice is in criminal defense, with most of my cases involving Driving While Under the Influence. But I have accumulated considerable trial experience, and I am often called in by civil lawyers as a litigator. I have tried cases in both state and Federal courts on subjects ranging from intellectual property to dissolution of marriage. I have also served as a jury consultant and have taught Continuing Legal Education seminars on jury selection.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Seek an attorney with a reputation for both competency and ethics. The initial conference should always be free. Finally, one of the best indicators of a good lawyer is that he knows when not to take a case. That decision should never be based upon money. I refer many cases out--in fact I do so every time I am not confident that I am the best attorney for the client. As a practical matter, this usually means that if I can't help you, I probably know the person who can.
