Pat Shelby, Guitar Teacher January 18, 2015 Do you dream of playing the guitar or improving your skills? Please allow me tell you about my experience taking guitar lessons from Pat Shelby. Pat is personable, approachable, and creates such a fun, safe, energetic, yet focused atmosphere, that it is simply a pleasure to practice, try new skills, and look forward to the next step of proficiency. He is a professional musician with awards, CDs and years and years of experience not only with acoustic guitar, which is what Im learning, but with bass and electric, as well. He assessed my level, then personalized my lessons to help me achieve my goals, offered up music theory that I could understand, and patiently worked with a learning disability that I have. He used technology to enrich the experience, providing chord charts printed out specific to my songs, arranging guitar music to suit my vocal range so I could sing with it. He sent follow-up lesson notes to me via e-mail, and tracked my progress to keep me moving forward. He also sent Youtube links with lessons targeted to my current skills. I enjoy every lesson with Pat, and also enjoy seeing and hearing his other students at recitals where the students, ranging in age from 6 or 7 years old to retired, perform everything from folk to rock to blues to classical music with the guidance and encouragement of this gifted teacher. Add in flexible scheduling and reasonably-priced lessons, and you may find that your dream of playing or improving at the guitar is about to come true.
I took long-distance lessons with Unca T in the winter of 2016 and I got so much out of them! I've been playing guitar for years, but had reached a certain level and hadn't progressed in a long time. So, I had some specific skills that I wanted to work on. T. prepared lessons that were exactly what I was looking for and kept me accountable to practice. It was an excellent experience. The next time I have room in my budget, I'd love to take more lessons with him.
I offer guitar lessons to those who are enthusiastic to learn. I would love to train people who loves music. Anyone can play music.
I have a degree in the arts. I have thirty-five years of theater experience, including designing and building stage and film scenery, acting, directing, and producing. I've also studied guitar for that period of time. Oncoming arthritis has prompted me to impart my knowledge to anyone who wants to learn what I have learned over the years.
We teach you the songs you want to learn. We include two recitals per year and Musical Ladder System in the tuition. All teachers are background checked. We have security cameras and observation windows in each classroom.
I give music lessons in voice, piano, guitar, and flute. I also tutor in all subjects and do ACT/SAT and other test prep.
I am a professional musician, and I started Rochester Guitar Studios to teach private lessons on the guitar, the banjo, the bass and auto harp. I have devised a method that starts with chords and songs then continues with all the techniques you need to learn and play well. For the banjo, I use the Earl Scruggs method for obvious reasons. I would also be willing to try Skype if you want.
I offer lessons in the following: * Drums/percussion * Guitar and bass guitar * Piano I am a teacher with a degree in music from Berklee College of Music. I am a professional performer with US and European touring experience. All ages and skill levels are welcome.
We offer guitar, bass, voice, and theory instruction. We have 10 years of professional performance and very comprehensive lessons.
