FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project is different. Whether I'm working a small handyman job or a full set of architectural plans I always give the same quality service and have competitive pricing for the quality of work I can provide.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Due to the variety of projects I take on this will vary. I provide a free project consultation and proposal for Design projects. I will always provide up front pricing for time and labor. Reimbursement or supply of Materials for handyman projects will be decided with the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started drafting my freshman year of High School and was fortunate to have a expansive drafting program and magnificent teacher that gave me a leg up graduating high school. I have an Associate's of Applied Science Degree in Architectural Design from Dakota County Technical College. I chose a 2 year degree over traditional school because of the emphasis on real world training instead of the "Art" of Architecture. I am an Artist and also have completed nearly all course work for a Interactive Design Degree and Hold a certificate in photography. I spent 15 years working mainly in commercial architectural design and doing random handyman side jobs. February of 2020 Moose Brain Designs was created. Recently I've found balance in having only one design client at a time and doing handyman work to supplement. This helps me concentrate on each client and separate my thought processes and keep my mind and body sharp by making everyday very different.
