I met Jay several years ago during a week long fitness camp in Tofte, MN. I liked him immediately. He was so easy to connect with - you have a sense of comfort from him immediately. He shared with me some of the struggles with a healthy lifestyle from his past, and it showed that he could relate. I loved my workouts with Jay!! He pushes me to new limits I didn't even know I had. He's a great motivator!! The only negative I can say about Jay is he lives so far away from me now. If I were in closer proximity, I'd definitely look to him for personal 1x1 training and kettle bell classes!

Melissa has been my fitness trainer for the past 10 months. I am in her exercise classes 3x weekly, and I have also participated in two 12-week challenges with her. She is very knowledgeable about both physical training and nutrition. She challenges us to do our best, but always provides alternatives for anyone with an injury or other condition. We have both men and women in our classes, a wide range of ages and fitness levels, and everybody gets a great workout in every class. I am not the most fit person, and I really appreciate that she often modifies a workout so that I am able to participate fully, even if I am sometimes unable to completely do some exercises. Melissa has been a very good coach for the 12 week challenges, as she knows a lot about nutrition as well as exercise. She is very organized, and encourages us to plan and prep all our meals. She provides menus, recipes, organizational tips, even coaches us through our vacations and celebrations which tend to derail our best intentions. She understands this and helps pull us through the lapses to get back on track. During the time I have been training with Melissa, I have lost 17.5 pounds and dropped 8.2% body fat. I am stronger, have more energy and look much better now too. If you’re looking for a trainer who is friendly and understanding but one who will challenge you wherever you are on the fitness scale, I highly recommend Melissa Jansen.
I started training with Ashley and Christian about a year ago, which was one the greatest decisions I have ever made. They have guided me with what I should be eating so I get the results I want, they have encouraged me throughout all my workouts and pushed me to achieve a better and healthier me. One of the great things about training with Ashley and Christian is there are exercises that I was unable to do and they are able to modify it specifically for me. Their gym is 100% private so there is no judgment only encouragement.

NPTI is a nationally accredited school, giving students the opportunity to gain 500 hours of class-time experience, learning all about what it takes to become a personal trainer. Upon graduation, you will be given a diploma from NPTI, a CPR/AED certification, a nutritional consultant certification and preparation to take the NASM certification exam, which is all built into the tuition. 200 hours of class time is devoted to giving students hands-on training experience in the gym, training a variety of clientele of all ages and fitness levels. Our excellent instructors are what make this a very unique experience, giving students a unique opportunity to gain insight into the field before even venturing out into it themselves.
