Complete Roof and Siding Replacement Before and After
Bathroom Shower Remodel
Photos and Videos
We had a total bathroom remodel, down to the studs while only keeping the bathtub. Price was fair. We were told it would be a few months but we got bumped up sooner, then it only took two weeks start to finish! Looks great now and we didn't have to lift a finger. Communication between sales and crew could've been better so we didn't have to go over our plan again, but I would rather have it done right. I also had to have them fix a few small things from day to day, which they did no problem. Would recommend to others.Aug 2, 2016Verified

Ken did a excellent job on my bathroom remodel. They were very professional and courteous. They were in and out like they were never here except I have a beautiful bathroom. I highly recommend them to all my friends.Jan 29, 2015
We signed a contract for a bathroom remodel in June 2014 and the job was completed Dec 24, 2014. The job consisted of taking out a garden tub and fiberglass shower stall and creating a closet in place of the shower stall. The garden tub was to be replaced with an onyx shower stall. The original sales representative subsequently quit and took employment elsewhere. When the new sales representative took over, we basically had to start over but without a new contract, only changes to the original contract which were significant. It ended up costing us quite a bit more but we are happy with the results. During the project it was delayed numerous times for various reasons and there was a serious lack of communication. There were times when we were told workers would be out at a certain time and they never showed up at all that day and we were never notified. There were also times we expected the workers to be here and never showed up again without notification. I told Ken I was very disappointed with the lack of communication and he apologized and said he understood, but it didn't get better. The workmanship in my opinion was average and several mistakes were made that required materials to be reordered. After the project was completed there were a few leaks at the bottom corners of the shower walls. They came out several times to try to fix them and finally had to contact onyx to solve the problem, which it did. Again the communication about when they would be out to fix the problem was very poor. The follow up support after the project is good, they never question coming back to fix problems. While carrying in some of the materials, which some were very big and heavy, the soffit over the front porch was damaged. When I told Ken about it he got someone out right away to fix it without question. I would say be very thorough when dealing with this company. Most of the communication had to be initiated by me.Feb 8, 2015Homestead Remodeling & Consulting, LLC's reply

Homestead Remodeling did an exceptional job on my rehab project. They installed an egress window and did some exterior soffit work as well. Very professional, quick turnaround time. I plan on bringing them more business in the future.Sep 17, 2015Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? We believe that we should be seeing a property to accurately quote a possible job. Our price comes from a free proposal that we will send to our prospects after visiting the home. You will find our current sales promotions on our website.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?1. Our Homestead office will set an appointment with the homeowner(s) for a sales representative to visit the home. 2. The sales representative may be able to give a quote at the time of the appointment, but will more often need to do external research on costs and materials. 3. Proposal will be delivered to the homeowner(s). The sales representative will able to go over financing options if needed. 4. Once the proposal is signed we will invite the new customers to be a part of our online construction management system - Buildertrend. This system allows the customer to view photos, project calendars, and send messages directly to their sales representatives.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?We are always making sure our workers are up to date on developing technologies and strategies, and are certified in anything we do.
