I am in the process of having a lot of work done on my home. It is difficult to find people who take pride in their work. Daryl built custom cabinets for my laundry room and mill work for my living room and master bedroom. He listened to everything that I wanted and answered quickly if I had any questions. I could not be more happy with the way everything turned out.

    About this pro

I have lived and worked in 4 states to date including my home town Chicago Ill established in 1986, Tulsa Ok. 17 Years, St Paul MN. 5 Years and now Tampa Fl. since Aug of 2016 but I must mention that doing business in Tampa since August 2016 has been a greater challenge due to the heat, humidity, hurricane's and "The Commute !!!" all of which have had a very heavy impact on my previous states production time frames, scheduling and completions for custom products built from scratch, so I must express to all potential Florida customers to have an open mind and expectations for a little longer time frame due to these factors alone. Building products from scratch does take more time, attention to detail and dedication but in return you get a far superior product vs a particle board or MDF product that has been imported. Working and living the life of a master carpenter, custom cabinet and furniture maker the most important aspect of any given job is the "client" details about the project. Another equally important aspect of my work for a potential customer to understand is that all of my work is custom-built from the lumber yard to the finished product including any painting and or stain and finish work which by the way, is a premium sprayed on finish done in-house and that I am not a "box" cabinet-maker who builds with particle board or MDF materials. I have made it a point in my business to build exactly what the client envisions as the finished product and this makes the job that much more rewarding. Custom building to client specifications has also provided a 30 + year history of word of mouth repeat business that I think otherwise would not have happened. I really enjoy the fact that my clients ideas come to life in a finished product.

      Q & A

      • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Because I am strictly a custom builder the pricing is by the job and it will include any stain and finish or painting work of which is a premium sprayed on finish done in house by me and any delivery and installation required for a finished product built by me.
      • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process with any new customer is to gather all of their necessary ideas, information, details, dimensions and picture ideas about their custom project in order to prepare the free rough estimate that I provide and the best way to do this initially is through email and phone contact to get the ball rolling.
      • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
        4 generations of family tradition.
