He did nice work. He quoted price $100.00 which ended up being $250.00. Suggest when Bob submits quote he reveals hourly rate $65. Per hour. A bit steep for handyman.Aug 4, 2017
Bob used his carpenter skills to trim a cabinet to accomodate a taller refrigerator. He took great care to minimize the amount of sawdust as a result. He also helped with some electrical issues (his career specialty) and went the extra distance to trouble shoot a "dead" outlet in my garage. Bob was on time, in fact, I got same day service! He is knowledgeable, respectful, friendly, and his rates are very reasonable. I highly recommend Bob for his handyman services, and I will readily call him for future jobs.Nov 17, 2014Verified
excellent experience he was on time very pleasant very knowledgeable did a great job very reasonable rate I'm considering him my personal handyman from now onNov 4, 2014Verified
On time. Very nicely completed installing a bathroom vent fan in an older home which was a difficult job. Good price. Only accepts cash which required me to run to an ATM machine. Bob might want to consider getting an Apple Square card reader which would work nicely for him and customer. I would definitely recommend Bob for handyman projects and would use him again myself.Oct 22, 2014Verified
IKEA Furniture Assembly
We hired Bob to assemble an Ikea Stenstorp Kitchen Cart. He arrived early and assembled the cart very quickly. He is very personable and easy to work with. Quick, clean and efficient. I plan to call him again for my handyman needs.Feb 11, 2016Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My pricing is fair for work done. I do quality work and my previous work is a testament to that.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I always try to personally contact them and discuss there project . I inform them of my fees and set up a convenient time to do the job. I try very hard to make it acceptable for both parties.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I have been fixing, building and installing things for 25 + yrs. I have taken classes and learned by trying new tasks all my life.
