FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am networked with henna artists across the world in order to stay abreast of new styles, new products, and other henna related issues. Additionally, I get together four times a year (minimum) with other henna artists to discuss business issues, educate each other and share our skills. I also travel to Henna Conferences to develop my business and art skills.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I do a LOT of private parties and individual requests. Private parties are generally for birthdays or ladies night in. The individual requests vary from prenatal henna to tattoo tryouts.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Get a complete list of the artists henna paste ingredients (and don't hire someone who used black hair dye). A reputable henna artist will make her own paste and never have chemicals in the ingredients that could burn or scar you. Visit the artists website and or facebook business page to get an idea of their skill level (view photos) and any feedback from previous clients. Lastly, once you contact them, did they respond promptly, understand your requests, and sound professional and personable?
