We hired Rory for a commercial photography shoot. He was excellent! We work with many photographers and our quality standards are very high. We were very pleased with Rory’s work. We would highly recommend him to others. Thanks, Rory!
Hired this duo on a whim, on a-last-minute-pre-wedding-freak-out-rampage. For whatever reason, the spirit moved me and I just KNEW i needed my wedding on video. As this was a last minute adventure, price was a main concern of mine. However, my (now) husband and I agreed that nothing is worth paying for if you don't get a quality product. So with that in mind, we started really looking. So I placed a suggestion on thumbtack and about six or so businesses got back to me within half an hour. What stood out to me with this group was the availability of previous videos. Say what?! They did a video in some crazy off lands! But how will I know that they can do just a regular-joe wedding? No bells. No whistles. Just me, and those closest to me. I stated to my husband. So I decided to send them a few questions. We must have exchanged about 30 emails before we agreed on a plan and a price. They were quick to respond, they were patient, so patient with me, I asked about every little thing I Could think of. They tailored my wedding day package to my needs, to my price point, and to EXACTLY what would be meaningful to me. So alas, it was booked. WE MET AT THE CHURCH BEFORE THE WEDDING DAY. The place where the ceremony would take place. Who does that? They do! Because they are awesome! We ACTUALLY stood up and walked around and DISCUSSED where things should happen. We talked about who would be where and when! NICK TOOK NOTES! About my day!! Which, means nothing to them, but everything to my husband and I. They asked us questions like What do you want to ensure we get on camera? Whats important to you? Who is important to you? Who is not important to you? What time does your day start? Where should we be when? What are your family traditions? And honestly, I didnt know the answer to most of the questions. Most of the time I responded with whats normal?. But this gave us time to think about what we wanted and it opened a gate so we felt comfortable talking to them about what we were envisioning, and how our ideas coordinated with theirs. The day arrived. And so did they. Just as they said they would. Seven minutes early even. They were both very present with me (and my family) for all moments during the day (not on their phones, or distracted with other people or their equipment), but I never quite noticed them there. It wasnt awkward like I thought they would be. I hate being on film, and I told them that, and they just did their thing. So casually. So casually that after the wedding day, I got concerned that they had just left for the day because nobody could remember seeing them. When they finally gave me our first cut of the day. I cried. I cheered. I laughed. I cried more. I watched it 100 times in a row. I didnt sleep. I loved it all. They caught so many of the best moments. They caught so many of the unseen (to me) moments. They caught the right amount of perfect moments. For instance, our ring bearer, 2.5 years old. Had tantrum after tantrum at our wedding. They caught his attitude on camera, but made it cute and funny. It was all just so perfect. **I just tried to write a paragraph about things I truly didnt like about them and the service they offer, and I couldnt think of anything. I then asked my husband, he couldnt think of anything either. I cant say enough good things about this duo. They truly were the best decision I made for the wedding day (other than my husband). I find the video is more precious than the photos. And I believe most of that has to do with the professional work and relationship Nick and Sara made with my husband and I PRIOR to our wedding day. Friends and family knew theyd be video tapped throughout the day and knowing Nick and Sara were relaxed about the situation, made me relax, which made my friends and family relax. Sure, a lot of people own nice cameras and can make you a video. But these two have mastered the art of professionalism, and quality of work. I understand that we paid for a service, and they delivered EXACTLY what we contracted, but what they actually produced was way better than what I ever expected. They are an amazing company and I highly recommend them.
Rockstar film/video team. Super high quality, no issues. Self managed. Wonderful to work with. Highly recommend. These guys are rockstars that clearly know what they are doing and very professional.
The job was done well, and the footage was enjoyable to watch! We asked for no editing on the video because we wanted to stay within our budget, and they delivered. A few things were cut short (i.e. the wedding party speeches), so it might have been better to hire the videographer for a longer time period. I also think that he could have cut the footage of the hymn short and made up for it during the speeches. Overall, we are satisfied!
video film and pictures from youth retreat. Mike was very professional and fun to work with. He went beyond the schedule time to capture every part of the day. I was extremely happy with the quality of his work and his professional approach and flexibility.
Dennis was a pleasure to work with and did a wonderful job filming for us!
Ryan and his Modern Image Film & Video Productions company have done an excellent job for us over the years. He has helped us make a number of videos for a few of our websites, and they are not only excellent, but have great staying power. The videos convey a feeling using a combination of video effects, music, content, and rhythm that helps convey a broader message to our clients. Every time that we review our website for updates, we always seem to note that our videos are still spot on and perfect - that is what a good videographer does, is make something that stands the test of time.
Red Wing Shoe Company has worked with Scott on numerous video projects. His professionalism and video skills are outstanding. He is resourceful and creative in providing solutions to our film needs. Great talent.
I first met Joe Rodriguez when he was a Digital Video student at the college I worked for. From the beginning he stood out because of his accelerated skills as a digital video editor. As a first quarter student he could edit better than a 2nd year student. That was years ago. Joe brings his life experience to the table as a professional editor. His intuitiveness and his acquired s kills make him a pleasure to work with. I've seen Joe take a project from conception through postproduction and he is a person you can depend on in every situation.
Great experience with the filming project, felt supported but not overrun, he had excellent time management (so rare in film it seems like), and worked well with everyone in the shoot.
Jack is an adept audio engineer with a real talent for producing artful, crystal-clear recordings both on location and in the studio. His mixes are the auditory equivalent of National Geographic photos: immaculate, clear, and highly creative. It's said that the best cameramen are video editors, and Jack similarly proves that the best audio engineers are musicians. His recording and mastering work has always impressed.
Lucas at Quick Cuts is a jack of all trades! He was fast, reliable, collaborative, and even took on the task of filming our project himself. After receiving our thoughts in an email, he returned a draft within 1 day, and the final draft 2 days later. We highly recommend him!
Look no further - you've found the right partner for your video project. It's rare to find a partner for a creative project who is as passionate about your vision and concept, and Robert's wide knowledge base, supreme expertise and approachable, kind demeanor made him an absolute dream to work with. Under an unusually tight deadline, Robert was able to deliver a final product that surpassed my expectations and was able to offer insights throughout the process that improved the film and ensured he would be my go-to resource for any future film/video projects. His passion for clear and up-to-the-minute communication did also not go unappreciated - another rarity in this field. In short, if you're looking for an exceptional final product, delivered on-time with quality unmatched by most, consider working with Robert. /b
I absolutely loved his video! Seriously, for the price he offers, I think he was the best thing I chose to do! He was so fun to work with. He captured everything that I wanted and asked for. He is just incredible! Video was definitely my favorite thing at the end of the day, and I don't think anyone would regret choosing him (: LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
