We had very good first meeting. Alex was attentive to my interests and gave me a good lesson based on them. I look forward to working with him.

My son has ADHD and Alex has done a great job of adjusting the lesson to his needs. He also knew exactly what my son was talking about with specific music he liked. He is very versed in different genres of music.

About this pro

Many beginner books and teaching methods begin something like this: memorize notes one string at a time, learn the infamous F chord, and play Hot Cross Buns. It takes months or years to play something that is actually inspiring to you and your audience. At Rockwell we get you playing something you like and something your friends will recognize in your first lesson. We believe that inspiration leads to motivation and we operate on that principle throughout a student's career. We also offer traditional methods of teaching, for those interested in pursuing a higher education in music. Rockwell can set you on a path to accomplish any kind of musical endeavor you set your goals to. Making students laugh, and those lightbulb moments.
