FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work with all types of cases, but my pricing is largely based on complexity and time taken. I am not an attorney that will charge you for prior work product where only a few changes are needed. I try to offer my services on a flat fee basis, so that you know exactly what you will be paying for, and what you will be getting.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After working in the human rights field in law school, I was able to live in Uganda and Costa Rica. Unfortunately, the way the system is structured, human rights work is not typically available for young lawyers. Immigration was my way to help people live their dreams, while also maintaining myself so I can do pro bono human rights work after hours. Regarding the small business and construction work I perform, I grew up in a small, family-owned construction business. In doing this, I learned so much from the business side of things, which I think is able to carry over when discussing matters with my clients. I can see things from the legal aspect, but also understand what their goals are in my representation.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked in all types of immigration; asylum, family based, employment based, green card applications, non-immigration visas, and issues with visas or green cards. I have also represented various small businesses from physical fitness centers, to physician contracts, to interior design, to construction. I have worked with one person operations and full-scale, recognized companies.
