FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Each year, I partake in 2-3 professional development opportunities to learn about the newest trends in professional photography, refine my style and craft, and look for new ways to capture images that other photographers simply aren't doing. As a photographer, our artistry is always evolving and there is always room for learning new things!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Meet with your prospective wedding photographer. Enjoy a casual, no pressure visit over coffee and share your vision for you wedding day with them. On your wedding day, you will spend more time with your photographer than any other person, so you want to be sure there's a connection and a comfort level there that will translate into capture your story.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
The time spent behind the camera (wedding, family session, senior picture session) represents about 20% of the total time required to deliver my clients their fully processed set of images. A lot of detail and post production work (aka - edits) goes into making sure each and every image is the best it can be!
