I am a woman in my 40s with very little formal vocal training. I sing very part time in a cover band (mostly 80s & 90s rock). I have had weekly half-hour singing lessons with Arlys for the past year. In just the first few months, I experienced a dramatic transformation in my voice and confidence. I have learned how to warm-up my voice, stand and breathe correctly, form vowel sounds to enhance pitch and tone, transition more easily through chest and head voice, and added at least 4 notes to the upper end of my “performance range.” Over time, my skills increased to the point where our lessons focus on "tweaks" to the songs I will be performing. Arlys’ strengths are her knowledge of how anatomy affects the voice, her ability to explain techniques in a variety of ways (so that at least one of them clicks for me), a prodigious sense of humor, flexibility, and a passion for both teaching and her own continuous learning. Arlys is delightful, and I wholeheartedly recommend her for anyone who wishes to sing better, especially shy singers, young people, and those who need to know “why” or “how” something works.

I have been taking my daughter to Jess for piano lessons for a short time. I have no knowledge of music myself but according to my daughter, Jess is teaching her more than other teachers. Jess does seem to have knowledge of the material she teaches and understands how the kids should be taught according to their age and level of experience. She is very patient when teaching. I also like her up to date payment methods and communication.

After several years of choral singing, I was looking to improve my solo singing skills. After studying with Dr. Barrett for a short while, I found that singing became so much easier! I gained about an octave in my range and can easily sing alto or soprano. The art of singing became even more enjoyable to me. Years later, I still find myself making breakthroughs during lessons. Dr. Barrett is an excellent teacher who uses clear, concise instruction with visual images and metaphors to help you learn the techniques of singing. Whatever type of music you want to sing, his knowledge is endless. I highly recommend!

Excellent teaching! I've had such a great experience, unfortunately I have to discontinue lessons for a bit. Once I am ready to take vocal lessons again I will surely do them through Lundstrum and Susan!

My 12 & 15 year old sons took beginner guitar lessons with Rachel. I was impressed with what they learned and the price could not have been better. They were motivated and looked forward to their lessons. I liked how she set up the schedule in the beginning of the summer and provided options for any of our normal days that wouldn't work. I wish I had also signed another of my kids up for piano. I chose Rachel because the price was right and I wanted to gauge their interest levels. We will return to Rachel because the price is good AND she's a good music instructor who kept the kids motivated.

Mary is a very patient teacher. It is nice that she has her business in her home. It makes it feel more quaint. Her lesson cost is reasonable. She makes learning enjoyable through her coaching. I would highly recommend Mary for anyone of any age for piano lessons.

CJ is an amazing teacher. My daughter has been with her for almost two years now and she keeps completing her method books and moving on to the next. CJ is kind, pleasant, and a wonderful musician and has helped my daughter to become very good at the piano.

Little Abundance Lessons provides education in a wide range of musical skills to beginner and intermediate students looking to expand their horizons. Whether you need guitar, drums, ukulele, bass guitar, piano, or vocal lessons, Little Abundance will design a custom approach each month to assure your progress. There has never been a limit to the things we can learn about music. Music Theory alone is an abundance of information. Yet no matter how much we learn, there's little we can say to properly describe our passion for music. I can only hope to pass part of that passion on to others. The following things are what to expect as a student with Little Abundance Lessons: 1. Being treated as an individual, with unique desires and needs 2. Progress with physical and intellectual control of your instrument 3. Motivation to practice (and love practice) 4. Excitement for your next lesson
