Luzette Catering catered our outside wedding. Daniel was always punctual and returned my calls in a timely manner which was very important to us when planning a wedding. The food was great and the price was very reasonable. The serving staff was there the day of at a appropriate time to have everything set up and served. Often times caterers aggressively track down the bride or groom for payment right after serving and Daniel did not do that at all. He was very respectful of our time and was very professional the throughout the entire experience. The only complaint we had was the bar service. The bar seemed to be unorganized and the bartender was not friendly to put guest. However, when this was brought to Daniels attention he was receptive to the information and assured is that he would address this for any future events. Overall we were very satisfied with Luzette Catering and would use and recommend them for any event. June, 2014
I was married in downtown Chicago in July 2011 -- I still get butterflies when I think about the day. I gave Shellee my vision and she turned it into a fairytale. My friends & family still talk about how special & unique the day was for them -- even as guests. Shellee's passion for true love & wedding celebrations is shown through the relationship she creates with the bride & groom, her incredible hardwork and creativity. I feel so lucky that my wedding day had Shellee's special touch -- It would not have been the same without her!
Jaime did an amazing job of helping me plan my destination wedding. I tried to do it on my own, but after 4 days of searching for the right venue, I was feeling overwhelmed. I hired Jaime as my wedding coordinator and she was able to provide several options within hours of my initial contact with her. She respected my budget and only offered services in my financial range. She was available every time I contacted her with a question, concern, or idea. She created a Pinterest board exclusively for my wedding, which allowed me to see ideas that fit with my desires. I'm a Type B personality and just don't enjoy the overwhelming amount of work that goes into planning a wedding. Jaime took on the challenges of my destination wedding with zeal. She doesn't treat event planning like a job; she takes the time to make people feel like their event is the most important thing she's ever done. I highly recommend Jaime for any event planning. I will definitely hire her again!

Jenna A Event's did day-of coordinating for our wedding and it was really helpful. First, I can't recommend enough getting a day-of coordinator so you can fully enjoy your day, and Jenna A Events was perfect for us. After picking from a variety of options, from complete wedding planning to just day-of coordination, Jenna A Events made sure that everything was on track and ready to go, and was so immensely helpful during the day it's hard to adequately express. There was also the back office work they did, such as coordinating vendors and reviewing contracts, that we didn't even see! I had no worries on my day because Jenna A Events was there.
Maddie and Ask for the Moon Events provided Day-of Coordinator services for our wedding. We had an introductory appointment where we sketched out our preliminary plans and details, a month-out appointment where we created a detailed timeline, Maddie ran our rehearsal, and she and her assistant were with us for the whole wedding day. Maddie Hughes helped my fiancé and me feel completely at ease during our wedding day because she took the worry out of our hands. We had taken care of most of the planning, but she helped us put together a detailed timeline that made sure that the day went by smoothly without extra stress for us or our family/friends. It made it so easy to just enjoy the day. Maddie and her assistant were punctual, very well organized, and they made everything feel as easy-going as possible. They coordinated with all our vendors, handled venue setup (wow!), kept us on schedule while allowing it to seem flawless and effortless for our guests, and really made sure our day was just as we had hoped. We would recommend Ask for the Moon Events without hesitation to anyone planning an event.
Ashley was the day of wedding coordinator for our wedding day and did a fabulous job! She assisted with our rehearsal as well and we felt at ease on our wedding day as she was so organized and ensured that our day went smoothly! We worked with Erin during the entire process of planning our daughters wedding in 2013. I have seen many events catered by Penny and her team, and am always impressed by how seamlessly and flawlessly they take place. Penny always comes more than prepared to make the event perfect, has a lot of creativity, great menu options, and very affordable prices. We've had her to banquets, buffets, anniversary parties, client events, birthday parties, barbecues, garden parties, and more. Hopefully one of these days we'll get to see her work her magic on a wedding, too!

Joan did an amazing job with our wedding! My husband & I were convinced we wouldn't need a wedding planner. But a few weeks before the wedding we were swamped. Joan was extremely professional, worked within our budget, & made sure our big day went off without a hitch. She even worked with my Mom to decide the best flowers & color scheme for our wedding! She helped arrange the food, set up the venue, the photographers, video, music & audio equipment. What impressed me the most was her amazing ability to maintain control as well as her passion for making our day stand out amongst all other weddings! Our friends & family are still raving about it!
I was extremely happy with what Dawn did for me. There was no way that I would have been able to get everything done in time if wasn't for her. From the cake to shoes to photography and so much more. Heather was our 'Day of' coordinator and she was absolutely above and beyond amazing! She helped decorate, coordinate vendors, the wedding party, photographer - everything! She was extremely professional. She got along with friends and family as if she was one of my sisters who I had known forever. Putting the wedding coordinating in her hands was the easiest thing to do because we knew she cared about everything as we would have. There were things that went wrong (out of her control) that I never even heard about until way after the day was over, but she handled each and every thing like a pro - so that all we had to do was ENJOY our day without worrying about anything. She listened to everything we wanted, she never forced her own opinion or suggestions on us. Her personality is energetic and fun! Family and friends loved her, we loved her, and she still to this day remembers our wedding day - 5 stars for this amazing lady!

One of our best decisions we made regarding vendors for our wedding. Melody and her team were amazing to work with. From the first email and throughout our wedding day, they were on top everything! Melody really knows her stuff and how to make your wedding day go off without any issues! Only thing I wish we would have done differently is to have hired Events by Melody plan our entire wedding instead of just day-of coordination services.
We hired Ole Piper to cater our wedding reception at the Rosemount Community Center. We made the decision to hire them based on our previous wonderful experiences with the restaurant/ownership. They provided an excellent assortment of food, based on our requests and their great recommendations, that was cooked to perfection and was right on time. Many guests commented on how much they enjoyed the food. The process of having the it ready and served was seamless and done to perfection. It was clear they had the experience and expertise to handle our special day. We highly recommend using Ole Piper to cater any event.

I strive for excellence in all areas, as if it were my own wedding day. I also offer assistance with vendor recommendations, favor recommendations and preparation, and all items that are to go home with the bride's parents that night, are packed and ready to be loaded into their vehicles before I leave the reception venue (usually about the time the dancing starts). A detailed Contract of Services is signed by the wedding coordinator and the bride's parents, and a copy supplied to the bride's parents at least two weeks prior to the wedding weekend.
