I learned of Bolin Floors through the website thumbtack.com. I had two projects for the right person and price. The first was installation of new hardwood floors in two rooms in our new house which had to match up with the hardwood that was already in place throughout the rest of the house. The second project was to refinish the floors in the house we were selling. Both properties had very tight deadlines. The new installation had to be complete a couple days prior to us moving in – in which the date was already established before speaking with Dustin. The second house had a firm date it was going to be listed on the market. Dustin showed up within an hour of us closing on our new home, materials in possession, and ready to work. He showed up at the second project hauling in equipment while the movers were taking out the last pieces of furniture. Dustin and crew worked two consecutive weekends in order to make the dates provided to him. In fact, the second project was completed two days ahead of schedule! Dustin is a very good and quick communicator. Most importantly, the floors in both homes look fabulous! I would recommend Bolin Floors for any hardwood project!

Dustin was so great to work with. Extremely timely, professional, and did great work. He came out to look at the floors, take some measurements right upon request and he provided a free quote the next day. He was very flexible around our schedule and made sure he could fit us in during a time that worked for us. The floors turned out better than we could have hoped for. We are extremely pleased with the entire experience. I could not find a clear "before" photo, but poly was peeling up, lots of divots and scratches, and they always felt dirty. Now are floors are bright, smooth, and they always feel perfectly clean!

Dustin did a beautiful job on my hardwoods ! He refinished my entire upstairs and made them look brand new! He was accurate with his pricing and measurements and was done within a week. I couldn’t have asked for better quality and service. Would highly recommend !!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My baseline refinishing price is for a complete sanding and 3 oil based coats. Water based adds the additional cost of the product. Staining for a color change is extra as extra steps are required. These three prices will be given at our meeting, as well as any additional considerations such as radiators.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We measure the space, formulate a plan, set a price, save a date.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have experience in Timber Framing, Custom furniture, and Renovating.
