FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Extra fees: Because I am a registered business, and give customers physical products like flash drives or prints, I need to charge Minnesota sales tax on all purchases. Discounts- I try to price myself correctly, and fairly. I think being up front with pricing is the way to go as a wedding professional. I would rather have correct pricing up front than constantly be giving discounts. I do give a military discount, and an off season discount.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to talk to my customers on the phone or in person when possible. I find it saves so much time to have one conversation instead of many emails. We will talk about your personal preferences, location choices, and build a shoot that fits you. Booking: You will receive an invoice for your retainer. I will not hold your date until your retainer payment has been made.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Communications Specializing in Photography. I am always learning. I look for workshops and classes that help me stay current on what's going on in the industry.
