FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I belong to a Forum for my Face Painting and Balloons. You Tube is also another way to learn new designs.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have 2 sons that are grown. I've always loved playing with the children...so I turned it into a Children's Entertainment business. I started with Singing Telegrams. One day I received a call from the company I worked for asking me to be a clown. They gave me a costume, balloons and some magic tricks. Off I went to entertain for a birthday party. I was a hit. From there I went on to study the art of balloon twisting in Arizona. While working as a balloon artist I thought why not incorporate that into my clown gigs. From there I saw face painters working and loving it. So I studied that next and loved it. I continue to incorporate new entertainment. My magic is simple but fun. Still taking classes to refine my show.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Face painting full face and cheek art is another favorite for all children. I also am a master balloon artist. Some examples of the balloons I create are: Snow White, Spiderman, dragons and many other fun sculptures. Another favorite are the glitter tattoos. They are beautiful and stay on the children's arms for about a week. This makes it great because they can bathe and swim. Birthday parties are a hit! I can custom design the birthday entertainment to your needs. The mini magic show is fun and interactive. The birthday child gets to do magic tricks as my assistant! I have many characters to choose from. LuLu the clown, Cinderella and Rapunzel!
