Introduction: Training: I have been training for 25 plus years, I use positive methods only. I can help the owner learn to train in basic obedience, or if you have a specific behavior problem we can just work on that. I have owned and trained therapy dogs and I am currently training service dogs . I am a former Therapy Dog Evaluator (2005-2016), & an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator (2005 -current). Behavior evaluations. Though prices vary depending on behaviors, the customer sets the amount of times they want me to come back. Payment is expected for each session and eliminates a big up front bill. Most behaviors require the customer to work with the dog daily in their home, my job is to identify the problem and show you what to do to do to change it. Pet Sitting: I can go to your home several times a day to let the dog out , my travel locations for that are Waconia, Chaska,Victoria and similar locations. If your dog is social, happy, gets along with other dogs and is night time crate trained, I can bring your dog to my house. My yard is fully fenced for a happy romp. Dogs are not left outside in the heat or the cold, are not caged all day, and will have have company throughout the day of humans and other household dogs. If your dog is 'small' and not dog friendly, I can keep all dogs separated. In my home care can range from 35.00 a day and up depending on the dogs special needs. Traveling locally (Waconia) is usually the same price. During my time as shelter coordinator of the PA State Animal Response Team I was trained in Pet First aid. I have had a background check done in 2015/16 by a local nursing home in Waconia in which I bring my dogs to visit the residents. I enjoy dogs immensely, having owned 25 dogs over 30 years, generally Newfoundlands and other large breed dogs. I like the challenge of figuring out why a dog shows a specific behavior.
