Jessica is an amazing trainer. When I began training with Jess almost 3 years ago I was a year out from having twins. I learned early on from Jess that that inches come off faster than the pounds. After 4 months I was down 10lbs and that didn't seem like a lot but I lost 27inches and went from a size 12 to a size 6. With monthly measurements you can see and feel that you are achieving a goal and that building muscle does not mean bulking up if done right! As time progressed and I built more muscle, literally one day the pounds just flew off (20+ lbs lost). I stated when we met that I would never be able to do a sit up. I have since blown that out of the water and run numerous 5k's, 10k's, and 3 half marathons! The last being Big Sur, my dream! I also had a very high and erratic heart rate. After 3 years my heart rate has improved and is 30-40 beats lower while running. I now understand the need for a personal trainer. She pushes me beyond what I would make myself do. However, Jess will also listen as I have chronic IT Band issues. She understands when I say that I need to back down on something (as I never back down). Jess is an amazing trainer who will teach you new things about yourself and introduce you to new workouts you may not think of (TRX, Yoga, Boxing, how to use paper plates in a workout if you don't have equipment). She is truly amazing and most importantly we work as a team to achieve goals together! It speaks volumes that now my mother has come to understand why I use a trainer. My mother has now taken up strength training and yoga with Jess at the age of 62!
It was great working with Karen the yoga instructor who made working out fun and tailored it to what ur level is. She was always on time and ready to get to work. The BA fitness was willing to work with my budget.
I got a Deep Tissue massage from Thomas. His technique is very good, very strong, helped quite a bit with my aches and soreness. Gotta love the BOGO deal for 1st timers! So yeah, I'm going again. Comfortable environment for a downtown locale, nice people.

I took Alex's C1 class at Core Power Minnetonka one evening after teaching a yoga class myself and thoroughly enjoyed it! She provided excellent cues and gave wonderful hands on adjustments. Alex is passionate about providing her students with a positive experience by providing a safe and welcoming environment for students to learn and grow in their yoga practices.

Beginners Vinyasa Yoga. Paris has a very calming and soothing voice that makes each of the instructional moves and breaths very therapeutic and cathartic. She artistically integrates the moves so that it flows and each move compliments and/or builds off the other. Her pacing is perfect and if you have a difficult time keeping up she welcomes,comforts and continuously gently reminds you to move at your own pace and rest in child's pose if needed. She's good at spotting when a person needs a readjustment for positions. The 'all is as is' mantra and meditation in dead man's pose at the end is freakin' brilliant. Very fair pricing! Good job Paris!!

I am a ERYT 500 Hr. Yoga instructor. I am currently a 200-hour-certified power vinyasa teacher and am working on my 500-hour certification. I teach a variety of vinyasa/flow classes and children's yoga classes as well. I am also CPR certified. My focus is to bring the benefits of yoga to everyone and to make yoga fun for all ages!
Amber Marie Heigl (Marigold) began her yoga journey in 2007 after a year of rigorously studying dance, music, and performance education at California Pacific College of the Performing Arts. After completing the program, she received a music certificate in the performing arts and returned home to Minnesota. Not sure where to exactly go next, she enrolled in Minneapolis Community and Technical College to continue her studies. There she enrolled in a hatha yoga class and from then on, her yoga path began. From studying dance most of her life, yoga was an innate practice for her. Marigold continued to practice on her own and attend classes at various studios after the course at MCTC. In 2011, she began studying more intensely while being involved in the Karma Yoga program at Svasti Yoga. There, she studied classical Indian yoga and Reiki under Laurie Endris. In January of 2015, Marigold Amber traveled to Nashik, India, and completed the Yoga Pravesh course. She also received her diploma in yoga education. Marigold teaches a combination of classical Indian yoga, meditation, aatha, and ashtanga yoga. She can also offer therapies, such as sound and Reiki healing.
I have been teaching private yoga sessions since November of 2014. Yoga has helped me get through incredibly difficult times and come out as a stronger person. I think the mental benefits are as great as the physical benefits. I hope to share this passion with as many people as I can reach.
