"Luanne is The Best massage therapist I've EVER had(and I've sure gone through my share of them!) When I first met Luanne, I came to her with severe back pain + fibromyalgia type pain in both my legs. I then scheduled 1-2, 60 or 90 minute sessions a month with her. Not too long after, my pain drastically changed. I felt like "me" again. Not to mention her reiki skills are A-mazing! No sore spot on my body goes untouched or unnoticed. She's a delight to work with; she's down to earth, professional, and comfortable to be around. I know some people prefer listening to music during their massages. I, too, enjoy the relaxing music she plays, but I also enjoy the friendly + encouraging conversations we have. But honestly, she's become more of a darn good friend than just your "typical massage therapist.""

"My philosophy of Massage is to restore, inspire, and promote balance and well being in the bodies, minds, and souls of our clients healing by combining Eastern and Western massage, to help eliminate chronic pain to promote healing. Back pain, headache, neck pain, and the complications of conventional medicine are some of the top reasons people seek complementary and alternative (CAM) therapies. A recent study claims that massage use is higher and drug use is lower in today’s older adult population. The negative side effects of both non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and prescription pain relievers are driving people young and old to seek alternative remedies for their pain. These trends require massage therapists who understand the mechanisms of pain, have the skills to address a variety of pain conditions effectively and safely, and are equipped with communication tools adequate to participate on an integrative medical team. With and without physician referrals, people in pain are finding their way to massage therapists: massage is the number two most used practitioner-based CAM therapy for pain, second only to chiropractic and osteopathic care combined. It is critical for us to work with our clients and their health-care team to provide drug-free pain relief as people “just say no” to opioids and NSAIDs."

"FYI: There is no licensing requirement for Massage Therapists in the state of Minnesota. Therefore, I do not have a license number to provide for this profile. Jeremy Smith is a Certified Massage Therapist and RN. The focus is client-centered and related to relaxation, therapeutic soft tissue manipulation and overall benefit and positive outcome for the client upon each session."
