Barry was great! Responded quickly, great price, will hire him for future projects!Jul 31, 2018Verified
Barry was a joy to work with. He knows his craft well and very reasonable rates. He did a remodel of our bathroom from start to finish and it turned out beautifully ( installed new cabinets, tiled floor, installed toilet, faucets, plumbing and drywall). He is not only a good at his job but he is a nice guy. I have recommended him to family and friends and would hire him in the future.May 25, 2018Verified
Barry completely transformed our master bedroom. It was a project we had put off for several years. He was able to give us an entirely new bedroom in three days. Removed a closet wall, repaired all walls, removed old wallpaper, painted the entire room. Work quality was amazing and a price we could afford. Will definitely call Barry in the future.Feb 9, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I base all and any of my work on a $30/hr basis no matter what the job is. For larger jobs I submit a bid for the entire project based on how long I believe it will take. I also offer to the customer a reduced rate if I finish the work earlier than expected and charge them only for the hours I put in. I have been able to save many of my customers labor costs on this basis.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? For larger projects I like to meet with the customer to go over all the details of the work to be done and then give them a bid based on what we discussed. For smaller jobs, such as replacing a faucet, sink, toilet, etc. I let them know my per hour charge and give them an estimate of how long I think it will take to complete the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am looking at getting certification or licensing in electrical and/or plumbing repairs.
