I guess I would have to start with David Lawson contacting me about the first week of October providing me with a quote to repair or replace my wooden fence. It took him about a week to locate the post that he would need. Then he comes by on Saturday, October 8 smelling of liquor stating that he would need $300 to get started and that I would need to pay for the post upfront with my credit card. This was about $640. He told me he would show up Monday, October 10 and at least get started taking down the fence. He showed up on October 10 and we signed an agreement and this time he said he needed $400 to get started. I wrote him a check for $400 and I called the lumber company and paid for the post and had them delivered. He then left and I thought he would be back that day to start taking down the fence. He did not show up until the next day when they delivered the post, and him and another guy took the post around back. Then from the 12th to the 15th they may have worked a total of eight hours removing all the panels of the fence and put up 10 new fence post, which range from 41 inches to 48 inches. All of these posts will need to be removed. I tried to get a hold of the other partner Tim Miller but he would not contact me back. So on Monday the 18th I fired David Lawson and had him pick up his equipment. I then had to go out and hire a professional to come in and fix the damages. Which they will have to come in sometime in the next 2 to 3 weeks and fix it.
