- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on the type of service needed. I offer consults through email or over the phone for free to get to know you and your dog and to decide what is most needed. Further pricing is available on my website.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am working towards many dog training certifications at this time and continue to take classes myself, attend seminars, and subscribe to journals to keep up to date on the latest theories and methods.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started off working in shelters, getting to know a lot about behavior in dogs and how they learned. My own dog at the time had many behavioral problems, so I took the time to teach myself how to work through those problems, via web articles, videos, and books. When we accomplished our goals and I was able to fix his behavior, I realized that was something I wanted to be able to help many other people accomplish with their dogs, to keep their dogs in happy, healthy homes, and keep dogs out of shelters whenever possible.
