FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Nothing really complicated at all. When insurance is involved, the customer needs to know there is an amount that is withheld until the project is complete called the depreciation. This happens so the insurance provider is aware that a project is indeed going to be taken care of. That's why a credible contractor is so crucial. My company will do every job at the same price the insurance company estimates because we use the same pricing template. Therefore the only real out of pocket expense is that of their deductible and any other upgrades the customer would like while the project is being built.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
There are continuing advancements in the roofing industry that I need to stay up to date with. Yes, there are classes, webinars, conferences that I attend to make sure I know all the current materials and installation procedures that are in place today.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I first started in the roofing industry as summer work while I was home from college. I grew to love the trade the more I worked it. There's something about making someone happy at the same time making myself happy with the workmanship I provide. The pride of a job well done and shaking a person's hand when the job is complete.... it goes a long way with me.
