I am the type of person who hasn't ever really worked out. Sure I would walk on a treadmill or get waves of energy to do something here and there. This time, I decided I would need the help of a personal trainer to keep me focused, on task, and push me when I feel like I can't go further. Josh has gone beyond my expectations. I am not going to sit here and say that it is easy. He pushes you but does it with enough ease that you are not scared to come back. Your muscles will be in shock after the non-stop cardio but in the end, your body and mind will thank you. After all, that's why you are looking for a trainer right? It's not suppose to be easy. A trainer is there to give you the results you have always wanted. Josh accomplishes that with flying colors.

I have known and worked with Ken as my personal trainer for several years. He is one of the best in the Greater KC area. He cares most about helping his clients achieve their fitness goals in a respectful and motivating way. I have had personal trainers in the past that pushed me in unrealistic pursuit of their own goals. Ken's focus is always on your goal and making sure that you keep up with it. I would highly recommend him for those that are just wanting to start exercising and those that have goals they want to pursue.
I just had my first training session with Sarah. It was incredible. She really listens and understands. As someone who suffers from muscle and nerve pain every day due to fibromyalgia, I was concerned that a personal trainer would push my body too much and I would be struggling for a week after. Sarah has put my body at ease. She worked me enough that I feel a burn but my body isn't in agony. I am so happy to have found Sarah and I look forward to many, many more sessions with her! I would highly recommend Sarah to anyone!

I've been struggling with my fitness and weight issues for three years. I feel like I've tried just about everything. After checking out James Hanton's website and the HitchFit website, I was intrigued by the amazing transformations that were highlighted. I was a little intimidated at first, not ever having weight trained with a personal trainer but James is so personable, that I felt at ease right away. The hour-long workouts that focus on different muscle groups each time, fly by because it's not just a good challenge but James also makes it fun. James created a special diet just for me that has made a substantial and immediate impact on my body fat and weight. He also provides excellent accountability. We're tracking body fat and weight often so that I will reach my goals in 12 to 16 weeks, and he has encouraged me every step of the way. My only regret is that I didn't start training with James sooner!
What I like best about Ted Owens is that he is smart, well educated, and funny. I picked Ted nearly a year ago to be part of a team of experts I was then assembling to REMAKE myself at age sixty-eight. I had packed on too many pounds, let my joints get stiff because of arthritis, and neglected both diet and exercise for over a decade. For several months I had also suffered a mysterious pain that limited movement in one arm and shouldera pain that even my orthopedic surgeon seemed unable to diagnose, let alone to fix. Ted has been very successful in motivating me to move again. We began slowly by repairing and strengthening my too long unchallenged muscles. Because of his multiple degrees and certifications, Ted simply knows more about the human body and how it works than do most folks who call themselves trainers. He is constantly able to adjust workouts to meet the needs and limitations of each client, whether that person is twenty or seventy. If one exercise hurts too much, hes always got another in mind that does not hurt but will accomplish the same end. It took a while, but the pain in my arm went away altogether. Not only that, my knee joints are now both stronger and more flexible than they have been in years. I no longer choose to sit out of family activities. In fact, I astounded my grown children last fall by joining them on a three-mile hike into the woods (six miles round trip!!) while vacationing in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia. Rather than following, I set the pace and led all of the young adults up the trail and then quickly climbed to the top of a waterfall while they were busy playing with my grandchildren in the stream sixty feet below. I wasnt even winded when we were caught in a sudden thunderstorm and ran most of the way back to our car. Want to feel twenty years younger, a great deal fitter, and much happier with yourself? Rebecca is the best! If you're looking for a personal trainer I would most definitely recommend her. I have been working with her for over a month and have lost 15 pounds, good cardio and yoga combined. She also keeps me motivated, shes the best! Give her a try, youll be happy you did👍

An excellent personal trainer. He listens to what your goals are and works to make a customized plan towards them. Most importantly, he keeps your safety and any limitations in mind at all times. I have always felt that he is not only attentive to what I say I can do, but to what he sees you struggling with, so that you can make progress towards your goals without injury, and without making it unpleasant. He is patient as well, explaining things as many times as you need to be comfortable. This is especially important if, like me, you are not familiar with certain equipment or exercises. Lastly, he is easy to talk to about almost anything, which makes the sessions more like working out with a friend than a chore. I would highly recommend him.
Erica is very warm, professional, and knowledgable. I'm happy to work with her knowing I'm getting the proper nutrients and doing the correct techniques and exercises to reach my optimal health and most beautiful body. She's super helpful!
My experience working with Stephanie (a HitchFit trainer) so far is amazing. I had two trainers at different companies prior to being with Stephanie and I was worried that this would just be another waste of time. It certainly isn't. I love working with her, she pushes you and motivates you and doesn't make you feel like you're lesser because you can't do something right now. I was in an accident, so I've had to put my training on hold while I recover, and she's so understanding. She will message me and ask me how I'm doing and honestly she's one of the best people I know and I haven't even known her that long. I miss training, and can't wait till I'm recovered and cleared to go back to training because Stephanie is awesome. They have a private location next to a whole foods that I go to, and there has never been more than 2 other clients (and their trainers) in the "gym" the same time as me. It's a comfortable space, they have showers and lockers, and the most important of all is the heart behind HitchFit. Thanks so much HitchFit, you have restored my faith in personal trainers, and everyone I know knows just how much I love training at HitchFit!
