I called in the morning for repair on my door and he was able to fix my door that evening, and did a great job... Thanks again
Sewer Surgeon was hired to repair main sewer line showing signs of leaking. Mr. Hobbs communicated frequently prior to arrival. The work was performed in a reasonable timeframe, and explanations were informative. After completing repairs inside the home, he utilized equipment to identify roots within the pipes. These were removed and pipes were treated to inhibit growth. He also took the time to locate the main line leading to the easement. This level of service met all expectations. Sewer Surgeon will be used for other properties when service is required. Great company!
If I could have rated them higher I would have!Tremendous customer service! Responded immediately to my request,on a Saturday morning none the less and on time as promised. Kaleb evaluated my electrical situation and to my surprise and relief, the problem wasn't what I thought it would be to which he fixed. He also found some other problems that I had no idea about that could have led to a fire. He fixed them all at a very, very less than anticipated price. Me and my wife live out of state and we use our home as rental property, needless to say,we have found our new go to electrical guy and all around company for many of our other home repair needs.
Vern was great and really paid attention to the details. He connected sink, garbage disposal, installed dishwasher, installed oven/stove, installed microwave, fixed door framing, fixed electrical outlets, and more for a new kitchen remodel
Great experience with Joe. Communication was great, was flexible with my schedule, did a great job getting some plumbing work done that I needed done (replace/move two outdoor spigots, install washing machine plumbing). Found some plumbing surprises as I was getting ready for him to do his work so he's coming back next week! Would definitely recommend.
We hired Ron to install two garage door openers. He was pleasant to work with and did a great job! We will hire him again to do other projects.
I hired Marcus to install a patio door in my new house. He was knowledgeable, trustworthy and worked very hard to get the job done and done right. He was very patient when I faced a couple road bumps and helpful during the whole process. One on the best people I've hired with following up before and after the job was done. Would recommend him for anyone needing some remodeling work around the house!
Repaired bathtub plumbing I broke trying to fix it myself. Did exactly what I asked for. Great job, fair price, will use again!
I had WJR come out to repair gutters in my house! They were great! They gave me details on materials needed and purchased them and promptly and accurately completed the job! I'd definitely use them again! Thanks Willie!
Dustin does amazing work! He put our basement back together and it is even better than it was before! We experienced a sump pump failure recently in our finished basement and we hired Dustin to repair the dry wall, install carpeting, new floor tile and vanity in the bathroom, paint, trim work, stair carpeting, etc. He also helped fix a ceiling hole we had and matched the textured ceiling almost 100%! Dustin was easy to work with, very responsive and punctual, and he completed the work on time and in budget. We definitely recommend him and will be using him again in the future. Thanks, Dustin!!
Paul was super fast in installing my two upstairs windows
Over the 9 years I have owned my home in Overland Park, and my experience with numerous contractors, undeniably, Aaron has been the most ethical contractor I have had to work with. Over the past year, he completed 4 projects in and around my home including electrical, kitchen, deck repair and refinishing. He's a craftsman and has immense pride in ensuring the homeowner is more than satisfied with his work. On the most recent project in June 2015, he was not happy with the work by one of his employees. He said it was not up to "His" standards so he spent the entire day re-doing the work. I would definitely hire Aaron again for several reasons: (1) He knows his trade - mechanical, electrical, remodeling. (2) He takes pride in his work (3) He does what he says (4) he's reasonably priced. In fact, I told him he needs to raise his prices as there are competitors who charge much more and do much less. Thank you Aaron!
Mike did drywall repair and painting in our Lenexa home in 2012. We appreciated his attention to detail and high quality workmanship. Because of Mike we sold our home for top dollar in a tight market, and would not hesitate to recommend him to family and friends.
Marthin hung and mudded sheetrock in my kitchen. He was prompt, tidy, and easy to work with. My house is over 100 years old with tons of quirks, but he took this into consideration and did a real clean job. I would for sure hire again and would be happy to give a reference.
Angel did a little sheetrock work for me in the ceiling to repair a leak. He was very prompt and courteous and the results were perfect! I would definitely use Angel's services again - thanks!
He took the time to check into fixing a wall hung toilet! We had a plumber before who didn't and he damaged it and we had one who admitted up front he didn't know anything about them. Mr. Coots was prompt, respectful, efficient and honest! I highly recommend him!
Chris has done a couple different projects for me over the years. He just did a kitchen remodel at my house with concrete countertops. My wife and I are very pleased with his work, and his attention to every detail. We will definitely use his services again!
Cullen repaired part of a shower wall, part of the bathroom floor, and part of a ceiling below - all which suffered water pipe leak damage in a rental house I own. The job took 2 half days, as I recall. Part of the shower wall and the ceiling below had to be re-sheet rocked. Also, some of the shower wall tiles had to be replaced. The shower wall is tiled with early 1970's tiles which are no longer available. Since only the tiles around the faucet and knobs had to be replaced, Cullen searched hard to find something that would look acceptable, if not identical, to the remaining tiles. All turned out looking quite nice. It was a plus to have Cullen working on this project as the tenants speak Spanish - not much English - and Cullen is fluent in Spanish. Absolutely nothing went wrong and I would highly recommend Cullen.
Great company to work with. They completed the work as planned and completely. We were so satisfied with their service that we've already identified a few more projects around the house to have them help with us as well.
I am extremely impressed with Holderman Construction. I recently hired this company for a project that involved several components, both indoor and exterior components, and I was completely satisifed with the results of every single component. I’ll go into the details in a minute, but among the highlights of working with this company were the excellent communication and feedback, the punctuality, great professionalism, and above all, the incredible attention to detail and high work quality, along with an excellent value - these guys put a lot of labor into my project at more than a fair price. And they were extremely easy to work with. My project lasted 4 days and they were great to interact with every single day, and did quality work every day. They were polite, friendly, and clean. They even removed their shoes, and did an outstanding job with post-project cleanup. The main interior project was bathroom remodeling of cabinets. We had attempted previously to have someone use color stain to re-stain our cabinets and trim, and we just never liked the results. So this project was starting to add up in cost, with a readily we didn’t really like. Ray (the primary/owner) and Aaron (one of his main partners) did an absolutely outstanding job on the bathroom cabinets. They fully sanded all the drawers and doors down so that the previous and original stains/polyurethane were completely removed before applying the color stain again. That was a critical component, because in the end, the color stain ended up looking terrific - even better than I’d hoped it would look. My expectation of how they should look when completed came from the swatches of the particular color I selected (rustic grey) for the color stain I’d purchased. We realized that the previous application of that same stain, we weren’t really seeing the wood come through the stain, but instead the previous (original) stain, becuase it hadn’t been fully removed. In the end, the cabinets and trim looked BETTER than that expectation! Ray and Aaron really hit it out of the park on this one. And when they were done with the sanding and staining, they cleaned up really well from the dust and there was very little lingering chemical smell from the stain. Awesome! I also had them fix some lingering plumbing problems that had frustrated me because a previous contractor was not able to resolve them. Not Holderman Construction - fixed them both for good. The remaining components of my project were wood rot repair and storm door installation. I really loved what they did with both of these tasks. Seems straightforward but there is the materials aspect - which product, wood or vinyl, etc. There was an odd complexity to the back door wood rot that introduced a potential obstacle but Ray and Aaron were able to find a solution and overcome it by finding the right type of wood at the right thickness (original builder apparently chose an unorthodox door and window frame thickness for SOME but not all of my windows and doors). They repaired the wood rot and painted over it and it looks great and is of course no longer rotted. But the real bonus for me was that in the process, Ray managed to correct an incredibly vexing problem with the main back door in front of the storm door - it was not level, and leaking a TON, and I mean a TON of air through the bottom and the sides. I didn’t go into the storm door installation with any expectation of improving the air flow issue for that door, but that’s what I ended up with. An almost complete remediation of that problem. I am absolutely thrilled with the back door now. It closes properly, it’s level, and virtually no air coming in! That’s only been bothering us for 15 years now. On top of that, several other contractors tried, but ultimately failed, to resolve that issue with the door. And come to think of it, at least one if not two previous contractors told me they’d fixed wood rot issues that they really did not fix. Well, they’re fixed now, becuase Holderman Construction fixed them CORRECTLY. Ray is highly attentive to detail, does quality work, at a more than fair price. You can tell he knows what he’s doing. And I can say the same for Aaron, his partner. I really enjoyed working with them, and not only would I hire Holderman Construction again, but I’m sure right now that I WILL hire them again for other projects I have waiting. I highly recommend them.
Jason was so great throughout the whole process. He installed our glass shower door as well as our cabinet glass. He was very helpful throughout the entire process and even had everything installed ahead of schedule! I highly recommend him & his company!
