BEWARE OF THIS GUY In Jan 2011 Dan Mcconnell was removing a tree in my neighbors back yard and dropped a branch through my safety cover on my pool as I watched thruogh my window. His Laborer removed the branch from the hole and told Dan. I watched them quickly finish the job and prepare to leave without saying a word. I hurried over to talk with Dan as he was being paid by the my neighbor, Dan acted like he didn't realize they had done any damage. He did acknowledge that they caused the damage when I showed him the 10" tear. I have contacted him several times regarding this damage and have been ofeered a $20 dollar patch, hung up on, told I was materialistic for wanting my cover replaced but never have I been treated professionally or was I ever compensated in any way for the property damage that his company caused. He simply hung up on my home owners insurance when they offered to call and try to reason with him. I have pictures of them actually removing the branch that was stuck through my pool cover!!!!!!

Yes, the pool cover was damaged by a broken limb. When I spoke with Keith about what he would like to do about the situation, he walked out across the cover and said he was a small business owner and understood things like this happen. The cover had small tear not a hole. He said that if it could be fixed then we could just fix it. I gave him my number. I did not hear from him until about 5 months later when he left a message saying a new cover was $1500. I called around and found that their cover could indeed be repaired and a patch kit was $20. Next I spoke with his wife and the price of the cover was suddenly $1600. I explained to her the agreement that Keith and I had. She asked, "Are you going to fix it then?" I said I would purchase the kit and pay a professional to install it. This wasn't good enough. I carry a $1,000,000 insurance policy. If he originally wanted the cover replaced, we could have done so. We had an agreement to fix it not to replace it. He went back his word and that is why there is a problem.

Do not hire this company. It has been 16 days since we hired Flying Squirrel to remove a sweet gum tree in our backyard. The tree has still not been removed. We gave Dan McConnell a $500 cash deposit on Monday, Nov 9, 2014. He was to come out the next day to remove the tree. The next morning he texted my wife and said it was too windy. It was.....for two hours. He said they would be out on Friday, Nov 13th....nothing....no one shows up....no text....no return of our phone call. We have had two subsequent text messages from Dan McConnell.....one saying his father had a heart attack, a second one saying his sister in law died. By this time 10 days have passed. At this point we then requested the return of our money.....we have made numerous phone calls and text messages requesting our $500 cash be returned....not one has been returned since Wed Nov 18th. No word....nothing! Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. I don't know if the stories he is telling us are true or not. We just want our $500 cash back. Instead, he is long gone....as is our $500. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

It has now been over three and a half months since we signed a contract with Mr. McConnell to have our sweet gum tree removed. He has never showed up. He still has our $500 cash deposit. He has ignored all of our voice mail messages. We then filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Mr. McConnell has also ignored their three phone calls, emails and follow up letter from the BBB. I found out from a supervisor from the BBB that a similar complaint was filed against Mr. McConnell in April 2011. We have now filed a complaint with the Mo. Attorney General's Office against Mr. McConnell and his company and are waiting to hear back from them. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

We had a very large, dead tree overhanging our house that these guys took down. They were very professional and done excellent work. The price was about 25% less than what other companies wanted. I will use this company again and have referred them to several people. The owner was one of the nicest contractor's I have done business with. Thank you guys for an awesome job.

I had Daniel and his team come out to give me a bid on removing three trees. Their bid was by far the cheapest option and I was told they would remove the trees and then the stumps would be removed by grinding them down. I paid for the tree removal as requested and was told the stump guy would be coming by to remove the stumps however they have never come back. I have attempted to call and send text messages multiple times to find out what the problem is and have never gotten a return phone call or text message. Beware if you hire these guys they might leave the job half done.
