Mr Zhang is one of the best tutors I have had in my whole time in school. The online classroom he uses makes tutoring so easy as finding a sit down tutor in college is kind of a drag! He taught me everything my COLLEGE professor failed to teach me in one hour. Very friendly and very helpful! Will be using again for sure
I needed help with Calculus and my tutor helped me go from a C- to an A. Arbor tutors is great for whenever I need help. Love them!
Great tutor! Always came prepared with work sheets and problems to practice. Really dedicated his time to help me work on what I needed help with
I like everything about Beatriz! But I decided to take a group class instead but I would definitely use her in the future if I need private tutoring.
She is doing a great job!
Karen is an excellent tutor. She will work with your existing teacher if applicable to tailor your tutoring for your studies. She explains things clearly and relative to the class. She will make your learning experience fun and enjoyable. She was born in the Midwest - but you could never tell it by her natural ability to be conversant in the Spanish language. Most natives think she is from Mexico.
Jason is an excellent teacher and is knowledgeable across all subjects. He was able to immediately improve my son's test scores by giving him quick techniques and simple guides to answering test questions. He improved my son's ACT score enough to get him accepted into an Ivy school.
My tutor was very flexible with his schedule. It was very easy for us to set up a time and date for the tutoring sessions. He was prepared for the sections I told him I needed help with and was great at explaining concepts I disn't understand from my own professor!
I appreciate that the experience is taylored to our needs.
WIth an understanding of what it's like to need extra help in school, I come with the compassion and patience that allows me to relate to students. Years of writing stories about incredible people all over this country has equipped me with the strong writing skills I have today. Along with the skill is also a level of creativity that I encourage my students to express. I don't just teach the basics, and share with them just enough to get by, but how to write in a way that makes the process an experience they learn to love. It has always been my belief that doing something you love can only lead to success. That is what I hope to impart to my students.
Students that work with me are very confident in their ability after a few sessions. I take my time to explain the material on an individual basis, instead of instantly turning to the textbook's methods.
I tutor any subjects that you may need, including all levels of math, pre-algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, calculus, physics, biology, and chemistry. SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, MCAT, Statistics, ANP, Finance, Accounting.

I was the supervisor of the largest community education center (Mullanphy) in St. Louis City (now retired). The youth attending the center were primarily 12 to 20 years old. We had a rule that in order to play basketball, you had to have three tutoring hours a week at the center, even if you were an honor student. I managed to get the honor students to tutor their peers if they were interested. I have been coaching students since 1985, from middle school through high school, as well as taught on the adjunct faculty of three community colleges. I like working with students, although my professional career was in business more than education. I have always got along well with youth and find it a worthwhile activity especially now that I am "semi-retired" and have more freedom with my schedule. You need to be consistent not gullible but respectful. What's easy for one person can be Greek to another. People learn differently, and the key is to find the key to each individual.
I am available for tutoring primarily in biology and possibly anthropology, as well as other sciences, social sciences, french, writing, and most younger level subjects are also a possibility. I am also available for public health and biology up to the graduate level. Please contact me directly to speak further.
Allow me to edit your written document. I work one-on-one or, if more than one, in small groups. I am friendly, professional, and organized. I can work with material provided or if teaching will work with student provided the material,
