- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on estimated time, figured pretty accurately after 17 years of doing this. I provide a flat fee and stick to it unless the job goes substantially over or under. I give notice if the job is significantly off estimate and also have been knows to issue a refund if the job goes under budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I recently taught a semester at Stephens College in which I learned alongside teaching a design class. I access online tutorials on an ongoing basis.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
A high school art teacher's encouragement which lead to a college art dept. class tour and that discovery of graphic design was a viable profession.
