Amy was AMAZING! We did our family photos with her last October. Right after we got to the location to shoot our pictures our son was running on the pavement and took a faceplant on the concrete :( I thought for sure the shoot was over. He had skinned up his nose really bad and was bleeding. Amy was great she really helped us keep him calm and even talked him into going to play on the playground. We ended up spending over two hours just playing around while she took pictures. They were the best shots we have had taken of the family. You can really see how much fun we were having in every picture. And you can't even tell he was wounded. I loved them! We highly recommend her to anyone and everyone. We will definitely use her everytime :)

Amy was very professional but also laid back and easy going and we loved that! The only thing we love more is our photos. During our session she was very patient, knowledgeable, and creative. She even got my husband to crack a couple of genuine smiles, no easy feat let me tell you. We hope to see her again soon!

We have used Amy's skills a couple of times now. Her attitude is great, my 1 yr old son was teething teh weather was cold and snowing and still she kept us comfy in the process.As a fellow photographer ive never been on the other side of the lens. Untill i met Amy. She did a great job!Ive used her services more than once and hope to get to work with her again.. Amy was great! She made us feel completely comfortable so that we could be ourselves. We didn't have to make decisions on how to pose, where to stand, or what to do. She made it all fall into place. I new she would do a great job but her work exceeded my expectations. I saw comments floating around from family and friends about how great the pictures were and I didn't even know they had seen them. Obviously, she did something right! Thanks Amy!!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Initially, after finding my dads 35mm Nikon EM camera in high school, I worked on my schools newspaper and yearbook staff as a photographer. Yes, it wasnt that long ago that film was the norm. From there, I went to college and after a few misguided attempts at various fields I returned to photography, fine art photography in particular. I finally found my calling (I know how that sounds, but it's the truth)! Photography is what I studied, its what I know, its what I LOVE.
