We weren't impressed with the quality of the inspection Mr. Dice provided. He didn't seem to really check much besides the electrical outlets. Granted, we are looking at a condo so obviously there's a lot less going on. We hired him expecting some input with regards to renovations we can make because his bio states he's a general contractor and has rehabbed homes in the past. We really feel like we were ripped off, to be honest. Oh and he told us "The blacks are very destructive" and some other racist commentary, which is completely unneccssary. I know he's an older gentleman but that is not ok to do...ever.

Hello Rachel. On June 2nd, I received a message from you stating "it was a pleasure doing business with you." On June 11th I then received a message that you stated you were not impressed with the inspection I completed for you and you felt you had been ripped off. We went through your condo, checking plumbing, electrical, AC, interior walls that were non support that could be removed and not cause structural damage in any way. I believe I answered every question presented to me by you, your boyfriend and the Real Estate Agent. I am sorry you feel this way after we had discussed the particulars and you agreed that I do the Inspection. I feel I was very fair with you and completed the inspection as required. Yes, I have in fact rehabbed many property's in the past and am not quite sure why you commented on my rehab experience and work.
Also, to my knowledge I did not make any kind of racist remarks, nor we're any intended therefore, if you took something I said out of context, I do apologize. I have had several black friends and have also had some very good black (African American, if you will) men as employees working for me. I feel I did a thorough and complete inspection for you, as you requested. At the time of the inspection you seemed to be quite pleased, again, sending me a "Thank You, Pleasure Doing Business With You", message.
