Back in 2014, I made a wedding video for a friend as a wedding present. I apparently did such a good job that she insisted on paying me for my work. The video was eventually posted online and, not long after, I started receiving messages, from people I didn't even know, asking if I could make one of their wedding. I soon began to realize I could do this professionally...and I have! Since then, I have happily filmed over one hundred weddings! When people ask how that's possible, I tell them it's simple: I love what I do! I love how this job constantly challenges me to rise to the occasion! I get to travel and meet so many wonderful, interesting people!

Jackie did a wonderful job for our wedding! She was very attentive to details, easy to work with, and our sneak peak video is absolutely stunning and beautiful! We are so excited to work with Jackie this upcoming fall for our wedding! She is so friendly and her personality just shines through the second you talk with her making you instantly feel so comfortable and making what is typically can be stressful process for a couple in planning so easy. We absolutely loved looking through all of her teaser trailers and just seeing how well putogether, and so personal each video feels and just all around amazing her work is! We are so excited to work with her and I would definitely recommend her if you are looking for a videographer for your wedding!

Jackie was amazing to work with! From the first meeting she was excited about our wedding and it showed! She is an excellent communicator and made sure to capture all the details that mattered and help find special moments throughout the day. Jackie kept her cool and solved problems smartly on the day of and I was impressed by her ability to find solutions and think quick on her feet! Jackie made a point to capture fun and special moments at the reception too, including the conga line with my husbands 100 year old grandmother on a jam packed dance floor! She worked smoothly and blended in while not missing out on important moments. Jackie is a wonderful person with a true passion for film and it shows!

I’ll start my review with the positives: I really genuinely did like working with Jackie. Before and during my wedding, she seemed organized and even set up a call with me where she got to know exactly what I wanted. She worked well with my photographer and we loved my sneak peek, which we received on time. We were SO excited to get everything back and have videos of one of the most important of our lives.
That being said... Jackie continually has disappointed me in many ways. I was supposed to receive a sneak peek, highlight film, and a full ceremony ceremony with toasts. I STILL have not received my highlight film from my wedding in July 2019, which was almost a year and a half ago! She also got my ceremony video back to me 10 months after my wedding. Her contract said I would receive everything 2-4 months after my wedding date.
I began asking her when I would receive things back last fall (2019). Every time I have asked about it, she always had some good excuses for why she wasn’t getting them to me, and I was so kind and understanding (maybe TOO kind). In February 2020, she promised me I would receive all the final products by the end of March. She offered to give me a drive of the raw footage, which I gladly took. I received the raw footage and then checked back a few weeks later. Now it was going to be April.
Then I checked again in May. She had some shipment issues, but then got me my ceremony video digitally. The ceremony video was nice and we enjoyed it (although she made some choices like focusing a little too much on the best man while I walked down the aisle vs my husband). She also gave me some separate footage of some smaller parts of the wedding so I could have them on a different file. But I still hadn’t received my highlights film (which was a majority of the day’s footage and the fun video) or an actual physical copy of my ceremony as promised.
I then checked again in June 2020 a few times (once without response). She again said my project was the next one and I would get it for our 1st anniversary (spoiler alert: I didn’t). And then she didn’t reply to my message in early July. I finally sent my dad to email her since he was the one who paid and signed the contract. He received no response from her for a few weeks and then sent a followup in August. She responded saying we would receive my film by the end of August. We also haven’t heard anything from her since August 2020.
It is now March 2021. My wedding was July 13, 2019. I am still waiting on my highlight film and my physical copies of my videos. I don’t know what happened, and Jackie hasn’t been completely honest or upfront about what is going on. I’m just incredibly heartbroken that I trusted her and feel taken advantage of. I should’ve had these videos over a YEAR ago per her contract, and yet I’m still waiting. But she has posted OTHER PEOPLE’S weddings who have occurred way after ours. Why is mine not being made priority? What happened?
