FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My price is compatible with other DJ's maybe a little lower. There is a lot that can be used for the pricing like first off dj equipment is very expensive. A dj setup cost thousands of $$$$ and wear and tear of keeping the equipment in working condition cost. Training to stay up to date with new technology. 100's of hours listening and purchasing new music to stay up to date. Loading and unloading the equipment then setting it up and breaking it down takes several hours by it's self. Travel and gas expenses. There is much more that can be used for pricing but I only charge for the time of the event.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'll give the customer my price range that is within their budget. After we have an agreement I'll have a meeting with the customer to let them know everything that they will receive, how many hours of the event that I'll be the DJ, MC service and equipment needed - speakers, lighting, microphones etc. A contract will need to be signed and a deposit to hold the date of the event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always trying to learn more tips on my trade on digital djtips.com and online courses.
