About this pro
One way we really set ourselves apart is the amount of time we spend practicing. At least once a week we get together to practice new designs. It keeps our art fresh and interesting. We don't want to do the same old balloons you've seen 1000 times. It's boring to make pink poodle after pink poodle. We want to create something new, something exciting, something that gets remembered. Our company is called Oh Wow!! because our goal is to get you to say that.
Being a balloon artist gives us the opportunity to interact with many different people in many different situations. It's fun and interesting to have the opportunity to learn so much about other people.
Another wonderful aspect to playing with balloons for a living is the way we get to make people smile. It's fantastic to see someone's eyes light up when they see their balloon.

Horrible!!! Could not even have the decency to call or email me to let me know that they will not be there. I booked 2 months ago for wow ballons to come to my son's birthday party. .... and over and over was told they had me down on the schedule. .? .and yet did not show up! Disappointed and very upset cos the kids were waiting. ...will never use them.....bad business people.

It was a great evening and the twister did a great job of handling a ton of kiddos!

FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? Our company has a practice session once a week. We also attend conventions whenever we can.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?My oldest daughter was home from school one day "sick". She wasn't that sick and I didn't feel that responsible, so we went shopping. Picked up a kit on how to make balloons and a couple of hundred extra balloons. It was addictive. We went through all of those balloons that afternoon and had to buy more when my husband got home from work. A couple of days later someone offered to pay me "to do that." How could I turn it down? 15 years later it's still what I do and now the whole family is in on the act, even the baby who was an actual baby back when we started.
- What types of customers have you worked with?We do events from small birthday parties to large festivals and events. At a small party we have time to create more elaborate sculptures such as dragons and fairy costumes. You won't be disappointed with our sculptures at large events, they are just a bit simpler with items like roses, monkeys, frogs and motorcycles.
