I hired David to repair a damaged area in my basement ceiling. He was very responsive to my texts and emails. He came out, gave an estimate, and the end result was what I expected--no surprises, which is what I was worried about. I couldn't even tell he had been there except for the ceiling was fixed. He left no mess behind at all. I would recommend David to anyone looking for home repairs.

Michael Boyd completed an upgraded kitchen remodel in July of 2003 at our home in Aurora, MO. The job took approximately 3 weeks to finish. Michael was very exacting and meticulous about his work. He even matched the molding above the cabinets he installed with the existing crown molding in our kitchen. He completed the job on time and his work was excellent. He also completed a large cabinet for our double ovens that included a slotted cabinet above for oven trays. Michael also installed 5 new doors on our cabinets that included two that contained glass fronts. He cut Victorian arched trim below the glass cabinetry that went with our Victorian home. He installed a wood top made of teak on a built-in desk. In addition, he installed bead board above counter tops in kitchen. Michael also installed all wood type laminate on counter top areas in kitchen. He also repaired and installed new wood runners on our built in breadboard. He completed custom trim on all cabinets including tops of cabinets and counter tops. He also installed 8 drawer guides and fronts with easy closing ability to our kitchen drawers. In addition, Michael completed all tear off work involving cabinets himself. My wife especially liked the custom glass doors that he made for our cabinet that displayed our dishes. We truly enjoyed working with Michael on our kitchen remodel. We also hired Michael later to complete a washer/dryer installation with all the necessary plumbing that was needed. We had him move the washer/dryer from our basement to a utility room just off the kitchen. He built a special custom cabinet behind the washer/dryer to hide the plumbing fixtures. In addition, Michael built a broom closet with an upper cabinet above for storage. He also built two additional cabinets above the washer/dryer for storage in this utility room. We truly appreciated all the quality and professional work that Micheal Boyd completed in our kitchen and utility room. We would highly recommend him to anyone who desires excellent cabinetry work in their kitchen or home.

Wayne was nearly immediate in responding to my posting and was willing to drive two hours from his home to complete the work we needed. We hire Wayne to rebuild the steps leading into our house which were completely destroyed. Many contractors we spoke with claimed they could not fix the steps without tearing them out, but Wayne was able to both repair them perfectly as well as do it at half the price we were quoted by anyone else. I would suggest Wayne's work to anyone, we were amazed by how well it turned out. Wayne's wife was also able to help us by repainting the interior walls of our home. We hired her for 6 hours and in that time she painted nearly the whole home, and with remarkable precision. Furthermore, while we only paid for 6 hours of work, I believe she ended up putting in between 8-10 for the price of 6. If you are considering this couple for any work I highly suggest them. They are very professional, work for great rates, and prompt to complete the work. I will happily serve as a reference if you would like to contact me about them. Josh

He was right on time. He did a good job mowing and trimming. He charged me a fair price. He was professional and did not give off a creepy vibe. As a woman this is very important to me.

Jamerson Property Maintenance have provided a number of services to us in our home and our rental properties over the last year. From drywalling, painting and minor plumbing/electrical repairs to helping complete the install of our kitchen cabinetry and appliances, new doors, windows and even framing/building a new room (including electrical wiring) in a large open space. Bill and Jerrel are masters of many skills and honest enough to admit when they aren't. That last point is key and has kept us (and will keep us) going back to them for every project as a first choice. We always know we're getting their best when they accept a bid request. Aside from their excellent work, they're both friendly and professional. Good communication, fair prices, timely delivery. 5 star experience every time. We're grateful to have found them.

I am absolutely thrilled with the work TM Home Improvements did on my Thumbtack project! The main project I bid for was skylight repair. This skylight repair project has plagued us for 4 or 5 years, where we have suffered with water leakage and visible water stains on the drywall under the skylight. What's more, we've already had it (unsuccessfully) repaired a few years ago. Once we hired TM Home Improvements, it quickly became clear we just hired the wrong people. Tom knows what he's doing. First of all, let's start with the initial bid on Thumbtack and the communication aspect - perfect. I got a response in a matter of hours, and used the messaging function on Thumbtack to schedule an evaluation of the project. The next phase - where it often goes wrong in my experience working with contractors and repair technicians - was the planning and scheduling and the showing up part. No issues there at all. He (Tom) came out at my scheduling request (and a bit of a drive for him, I may add), was on time, personable, knowledgeable, and followed up quickly on his bid. I was very happy with the reasonable price for the bid. But much more importantly, Tom's approach to resolving my issue was to thoroughly evaluate it and bid out for what TRULY needs to be done to resolve it. Not just slap a tube of sealer - which has already been done - but to actually remove it, inpsect all of the skylight components, and fix whatever is likely causing the leak(s). Right there I was sold on likely hiring this company once I saw the bid, and the bid was great, as I mentioned, quite reasonable. So then we move to the next phase, scheduling and actually DOING the work. Well, this was a home run. Tom scheduled the work by purchasing materials literally the day after I agreed to have him do the work and then initiating the installation the day after that, and completing the work the following day. He found the source of the water damage, repaired it, even exceeded what he needed to do by ensuring both the plain and the layer of tinted glass were tightly sealed togeher, replaced flashing with a better seal, and even painted over the stains on the ceiling/texture directly under the skylight! Not only is the skylight water leakage resolved, but we don't have to stare at the visible reminder of the damage that has been haunting us for 5 years! On top of that, he fixed another issue that's been plaguing us for years - a very drafty north-facing back door with an air gap between the door and the frame you could drive a truck through. Same day he fixed the skylight, he also repaired this door - and this included purchasing the necessary materials. Totally awesonme job on the door as well, and a load off our minds as we head into winter. We used to stuff things in the gap in the colder months, as our food would quickly get cold on our dining room table. That will no longer be an issue thanks to Tom and TM Home Improvements. We are so happy with this company that we're going to have him return to do some additional projects - replacing rotted deck stairs, staining the deck, repairing wood rot. This has been an outstanding experience with TM Home Improvements - the responsiveness, the communication, the customer service, the VERY high quality of work, and the great price. You just can't do any better. And the Thumback experience has been equally great. I love the ease of attaching pictures, scheduling, messaging, finding pros, it's all been top notch.

Jay has done masonry work at the Historic Brown Mansion in Coffeyville, Kansas, including repair work to the chimneys and placing decorative brickwork along the sidewalks. On a personal note, I also had Jay build a fireplace and chimney for my own home. He provides excellent work and craftsmanship. I highly recommend his services.

Chris did a one room add on from top to bottom. He did it all from start to finish in about 14 days. I was very happy with the work he did and have told my friends about him. He was very professional and polite. He showed up on time everyday. He was also willing to work around my schedule and I found him very trustworthy.
