Introduction: My passion for my work is driven by my want to create remarkable experiences for customers, which I believe begins with remarkable experiences for employees. In my experience, the greatest frustrations of employees are wrapped around organizational friction - lack of, unclear, or ever-changing direction; lack of, or divided, leadership; disempowerment; low trust; unrealistic expectations; and so on. These environments make it impossible to deliver consistent, great service to customers - because the employees are thrashing, burning out, and disengaging. By making the line-of-sight to customers evident to everyone in a company, and by organizing around customer/business value, ROI, and other metrics, we are able to align companies in meaningful ways.
