Introduction: With full day coverage starting at $1800, Wedding Photography is my full time gig! I list the vast majority of my package info on my site for Selby Films. My husband and I hired David to be the videographer for our wedding. From shooting the 'thank you' video to the final 'highlight' reel of our wedding day, David FAR exceeded our expectations. David puts an incredible amount of time and energy in his work and is SO much fun to work with! David makes it very easy to relax and feel comfortable in front of the camera. He is full of unique ideas and captured exactly what we had in mind. David was very responsive, flexible and exemplary in communicating the progress of his editing and when we could expect the final products. I would HIGHLY recommend Selby Films for anyone looking for an exceptional photographer or videographer!

David was PERFECT! He did such a beautiful job photographing my wedding, it was exactly what I wanted. And his pictures are AMAZING!! He took some great photos that played with light and shadow, he set up some shots that turned out absolutely breathtaking, AND he caught some hilarious moments during the reception that weren't staged - I don't know how he did it, but he perfectly captured the mood and happiness at our wedding in his photos. I couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out and as an added bonus: David is one of the genuinely NICEST people I have ever met, my entire family loved him!! HIRE HIM for any special occasion you have, you will not be disappointed!!! I can't say enough good things about him!

From the beginning of meeting David he was extremely accommodating, easy to work with, not to mention talented! He puts his clients first which is proved by his simple ask of "where's convenient for you to meet up?" From our initial meeting, David was very professional and both my fiance and I felt extremely comfortable around him. His welcoming demeanor makes for a comfortable photo shoot for both engagement photos and our wedding photos! He has a way of being stealthy and silent to capture real moments that you had no clue he was able to even get, along with speaking up and making people comfortable when necessary such as around kids or people who may be shy when taking photos. I love how David truly loves what he does, and feels like a part of your family or friend on your day- all of our friends and family loved him and his crew of videographers/photographers. We were blown away by our pictures when we got them! It was rainy on our wedding day during our time to take pictures so David thought of some creative alternatives and got some other wonderful photos as a back up! For them being a backup, we couldn't have asked for anything better when we got our photos back! We will certainly use David again for family photos and any other photos in the future!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have most pricing for my wedding packages on my website for Selby Films, but I provide custom quotes for other photo and video related jobs. Date can affect a lot of things, as well. If your wedding is on a Saturday in the warmer months of the year, I consider those dates high in demand... if your date is in an off month or NOT on a Saturday, availability and flexibility improves drastically.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The majority of my customers are clients looking to be married and they need photography and/or videography for their big day. I am happy to chat with clients through phone calls, emails, or face to face meetings.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My first year of college was learning computer science and Missouri Southern State University, and then I went out to New Mexico for the remainder of my college studies and returned with an Associate's Degree in Film Production.
