FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes. We have a fixed pricing system that calculates the costs of our services, materials, and labor bssed on national average costs. This is accomplished by simply inputing the quantity and/or number of units of measure to be performed. Please check our website for the latest updated service descriptions and pricing information on our website's pricing page.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We keep constantly updated with all national and local building code changes which relate to chimney, fireplace and hearth appliances. We participate in continuing education opportunities related to our work through industry product and appliance manufacturers, and trade and industry associations. We also have our own in house training program to keep our techs in the lead with all the latest tools, techniques and developments.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The main service we provide is both residential and commercial chimney cleanings, combined with either visual or video camera chimney inspections. Annual inspections are recommend by the National Fire Protection Agency for all fireplaces and hearth appliances, and during real estate transactions such as buying a new home. This is highly recommend as we frequently find hidden damage that is usually covered by the current owners home insurance prior to the close of the sale; whereas, if undiscovered the new owner would be unaware of the damage and end up paying for the repairs later. We perform an equal amount of brick and stone masonry repairs, and factory pre-fabricated fireplace chimney repairs, such as flue tile replacement, stainless steel chimney relining, chimney rebuilding, spot-cutting (which is the replacement of spalled brick), tuck pointing, crown repair, waterproofing and chimney chase cover replacements.
