"I love having lessons with Dr. Olson. I have fallen in love with piano after learning with Dr. Olson. I have learned to play the pieces of different style, from classical to romantic. He would let me feel the music instead of just tell me what to do. I still remember Dr. Olson said I could imagine the piano as an orchestra. That made me enjoy the piece a lot more because I can feel the melody and harmony."

""Aurelien has an exceptional approach to fostering a child's appreciation of music.  The structure of his class is dynamic and engaging; he is exposing children to the piano but also core musical concepts like rhythm, soft and loud sounds, high and low notes.  His approach is grounded in creativity, encouragement, and close observation of his students.   In teaching piano, Aurelien has found his vocation.""

"I'm a stage actor and in the summer of 2016,when I was home from my graduate acting program, I was looking for a voice teacher to study with so I could brush up on my musical theatre skills. I met with Michelle on the recommendation of a dear friend of mine without knowing very much about her. I did not know at that point that I was in for one of the most transformative experiences of growth in the way I approach my voice I've had in my life. I had come off of a year of voice classes that specialized in vocal work for the stage, but not singing. I was itching to apply what I had been learning to my musicianship (I'd done professional musical theatre work prior to grad school and have been playing trumpet and singing nonprofessionally for many years.) The most remarkable thing about her instruction was that she used her great gifts as a teacher and musician to meet me where I was. She was able to quickly assess what I already knew and give me work that would challenge me. Moreover, because she is a regularly performing artist herself, she was incredibly engaged in not merely the technical work of vocal production, but what I wanted to say with music as an individual artist. Having learned from many instructors over the years, I can say that that level of respect, skill and generosity is very uncommon. If I'm ever back in the KC Metro area for any length of time, you can bet I will be contacting her for more help."

"After a hiatus of 37 years, Sharon graciously accepted me as an organ student. She was immensely patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging. She has left me with a varied repertoire of music that I can use as a substitute organist, but most of all, she has brought me back to the deeply satisfying experience of playing the organ again. I am and will be forever grateful!"

"Such an incredible experience .. from the moment that we met with Kevin and Angela, I could tell that they were incredibly talented teachers but also very professional in running their business. I started my piano lessons in my 40's and Angela never made me feel as though I wasn't giving it my best or should be moving at a faster pace. She was patient and encouraging all while keeping my busy mind on task. I am sure that I challenged her at times more than her younger students yet her quick laugh and gentle spirit kept the lesson light and moving forward. I always looked forward to my evenings with her, first as a teacher and then as a friend. I refer everyone that I know to her and I have yet to hear of an unhappy family. "

"It has been about two years since our son started taking piano lessons. Cathan has been an extremely knowledgeable, wonderful, caring and inspiring teacher for him from the very beginning. She was very encouraging when we were looking for a teacher and created a great impression on us right on the first day. My son's fondness for the music and the music teacher has only gone up since he started taking lessons. We would wholeheartedly recommend her to the beginners as well as advanced learners."
