- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is not complicated, I have no hidden prices, but clients make most pricing systems complicated by skim reading and not reading to understand. This is why I have strict guidelines that all my clients must adhere to. I will do no service without a consult, and yes there is a charge for the consult; which is taken off the price of your service. If you choose not to get a service, then the consult fee is just that, paid for knowledge. I have learned that most clients have been through so much that they are always looking for the hidden when they come across someone like me, they make things complicated when it really is cut and dry as stated.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, we are constantly leaning, updating, and developing our skills and tools we use in our field and crafts. We attend classes, trade shows, seminars, and do online training and development as well. You have to stay on the pulse, because trends change like the wind. To be the best and offer quality you have to continue educating yourself
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to get into this line of work to give women an affordable way to make themselve look and feel beautiful; to be able to have the same looks as their wealthy, "wanna be" rich and/or their favorite celebrity. I want to give the everyday, average, housewife, mother, student and/or teenager the opportunity, if they want it, without starving and/or sacraficing their livilihood for a hair do, that may or may not last a month.
