Awesome experience! Dishwasher installed in a hour after I bought it the day before. Nebraska Furniture Mart install was not going to be done until the new year. Fast, friendly service will use again for any appliance, plumbing, or hvac
Todd did a fantastic job putting together our Ikea furniture pieces. He was a great communicator and a fast worker. I would use him again and recommend him to my friends.
Roy was really, really easy to work with. A great mix of professional, but laid-back enough that you didn’t feel pressure or hassle in anyway. He came out gave us his recommendation after looking at our cabinet and as he was cleaning and staining it sent us pictures to make sure that we were pleased before he proceeded. He was able to accommodate us and our timeline plus he was extremely affordable. If we were going into this process again we would choose Roy hands-down and we will be recommending him. If you have an older piece of furniture you want to make look great again, seriously just go with Roy!
Rodney did an excellent job assembling our large and complicated ikea closet system. It was a two person job but he did it all on his own! He is knowledgable, extremely professional and worked constantly on the project until it was done! Will be hiring again!
Preston did an awesome job assembling my ikea furniture. Plus he was a joy to talk to! I'd definitely recommend him.
Extremely satisfied with Brummel Construction as I have used Ed on a full kitchen remodel with cabinet and appliances installation along with tile of floor and back splash. Was very pleased that I had him do several other projects to include: master bath remodel, fireplace front resurfaced with tile and flat screen TV hung so no wires show. Also Ed did remarkable wood work on replacement of stair railing. Also have used him on my general "to do /fix it list to include treadmill, painting, etc. Would highly recommend!
BIRD did an outstanding job! I was very pleased to continue their business as they started out doing interior trim, and tile floor. That then escalated to my kitchen cabinets, all the way to my appliances and wall paint! A smart young man who knows his stuff! I would recommend!
I am extremely impressed with Holderman Construction. I recently hired this company for a project that involved several components, both indoor and exterior components, and I was completely satisifed with the results of every single component. I’ll go into the details in a minute, but among the highlights of working with this company were the excellent communication and feedback, the punctuality, great professionalism, and above all, the incredible attention to detail and high work quality, along with an excellent value - these guys put a lot of labor into my project at more than a fair price. And they were extremely easy to work with. My project lasted 4 days and they were great to interact with every single day, and did quality work every day. They were polite, friendly, and clean. They even removed their shoes, and did an outstanding job with post-project cleanup. The main interior project was bathroom remodeling of cabinets. We had attempted previously to have someone use color stain to re-stain our cabinets and trim, and we just never liked the results. So this project was starting to add up in cost, with a readily we didn’t really like. Ray (the primary/owner) and Aaron (one of his main partners) did an absolutely outstanding job on the bathroom cabinets. They fully sanded all the drawers and doors down so that the previous and original stains/polyurethane were completely removed before applying the color stain again. That was a critical component, because in the end, the color stain ended up looking terrific - even better than I’d hoped it would look. My expectation of how they should look when completed came from the swatches of the particular color I selected (rustic grey) for the color stain I’d purchased. We realized that the previous application of that same stain, we weren’t really seeing the wood come through the stain, but instead the previous (original) stain, becuase it hadn’t been fully removed. In the end, the cabinets and trim looked BETTER than that expectation! Ray and Aaron really hit it out of the park on this one. And when they were done with the sanding and staining, they cleaned up really well from the dust and there was very little lingering chemical smell from the stain. Awesome! I also had them fix some lingering plumbing problems that had frustrated me because a previous contractor was not able to resolve them. Not Holderman Construction - fixed them both for good. The remaining components of my project were wood rot repair and storm door installation. I really loved what they did with both of these tasks. Seems straightforward but there is the materials aspect - which product, wood or vinyl, etc. There was an odd complexity to the back door wood rot that introduced a potential obstacle but Ray and Aaron were able to find a solution and overcome it by finding the right type of wood at the right thickness (original builder apparently chose an unorthodox door and window frame thickness for SOME but not all of my windows and doors). They repaired the wood rot and painted over it and it looks great and is of course no longer rotted. But the real bonus for me was that in the process, Ray managed to correct an incredibly vexing problem with the main back door in front of the storm door - it was not level, and leaking a TON, and I mean a TON of air through the bottom and the sides. I didn’t go into the storm door installation with any expectation of improving the air flow issue for that door, but that’s what I ended up with. An almost complete remediation of that problem. I am absolutely thrilled with the back door now. It closes properly, it’s level, and virtually no air coming in! That’s only been bothering us for 15 years now. On top of that, several other contractors tried, but ultimately failed, to resolve that issue with the door. And come to think of it, at least one if not two previous contractors told me they’d fixed wood rot issues that they really did not fix. Well, they’re fixed now, becuase Holderman Construction fixed them CORRECTLY. Ray is highly attentive to detail, does quality work, at a more than fair price. You can tell he knows what he’s doing. And I can say the same for Aaron, his partner. I really enjoyed working with them, and not only would I hire Holderman Construction again, but I’m sure right now that I WILL hire them again for other projects I have waiting. I highly recommend them.
The K6 Group painted several interior rooms for me, as well as the trim and shutters on the exterior of my home. They did outstanding work and I have retained their services for several more jobs I have coming up, including refinishing my kitchen cabinets, removing wallpaper, installing doors and more. They are trustworthy, friendly, timely and do a very professional job! They have stuck to every bid/quote they have given. I have been nothing but extremely satisfied with their work and I highly recommend them to anyone needing their services!
I hired Handyguy to build a custom cabinet and do some electrical troubleshooting. He was professional on time and respectful of our price points. He understood what needed to be done without compromising craftsmanship. I would recommend him for any project.
Joe assembled an IKEA bed and Wardrobe for me and did a FANTASTIC job. He was on time > kind > and (important for a single woman) not scary to have in my home. ;) I would highly recommend Joe to anyone!
