- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $180 per hour for most jobs, consulting and drawings. I have negotiable charges for purchasing items. For new construction I charge 2% of the price of the home, tallied hourly and billed every two weeks. If I run over that 2% it is gratis.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Coming up with the budget first and foremost. Creating documents/drawings for bids next. Following through with suppliers and contractors during and throughout the finish of the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS in interior design from Kansas State University, ranked in the top 5 to 20 in the world depending on publication. I use AutoCAD, 2020, Chief Architect, and hand drawings to illustrate my work. I also use Excel when I am involved with large projects that requires organization of specifications.
